non god like pilots may be more realistic (realism in the gundam world is a kinda vague word though i'd have to say), but then it'd make things less epic, could take good stuff from potential story lines etc etc

if it works out well with the whole STORY (as nothing else really matters to me tbh, the rest is just icing on the cake) then that's good of course, but if its just for the sake of it being more realistic like, then that's what i hate.
people loving realism just because... it's more realistic and nothing else :/

Ontopic: Every gundam series is a rip of off another once somehow. SEED's plot is a new version of Zeta's, or so I've heard.

Destiny IS a rip-off of Zeta. In a way anyways. The whole Shinn and Stellar plot is identical to the connection between Kamille and Four. Also, if you can find the picture where it compares Stellar's  death scene to Four's  death scene. Completely identical. Probably the Athrun plot is the same as Char. Ace pilot that returns and is a mentor to the main character under an alias and wears sunglasses, although that was shot down quickly.

Destiny started off as based on Zeta but then it imploded. Kamille/Four was a good pairing. With Stellar only having the mind of a two year old made her relationship with Shinn seem like legal pedophillia basically. And lets not get started on the ending.

i like that virtue gundam, because it's filled with all sort's of wonderfull explosives which gives off the impression of an all out missile blitz attack.

FYI, the series will be something different from Seed Mainly because of few staff members:

Yousuke Kuroda is the Screenplay and script writer, who did Infinite Ryvius and Tenchi Muyo series, along with Onegai Sensei, S-Cry-Ed, Fire Emblem, Saint Seiya OVA, Excel Saga and Trigun.

Director for this series is Seiji Mizushima who did Full Metal Alchemist, Dai Guard, GaoGaiGar Final: Glorious Grand Gathering, Shaman King and Eureka Seven.

Character Designer is Yun Kouga, who did Loveless, and also Michinori Chiba (Naruto, Galaxy Angel Z, Shaman King, Dai Guard)

Music Composer is Masafumi Mima, (Cardcaptor Sakura, Fafner, Full Metal Alchemist, Macross Plus, Macross Zero, Reideen, Devil May Cry, Chobits, Dai Guard etc.)
