To be honest I haven't completely seen all of the episodes, but parodies of Higurashi are the best. :lol:

I haven't really watched any parodies of it yet.

But I'll be sure to catch some.

I'm still finishing it up, and with the Fandub that me and several other dothackers are working on...our dub is gonna be awesome.

Might rival the English VA's.

Cough....maybe.

Most likely I think everyone will be better then the English VA's but the VA actor of Satoko kind of sounds like the Jappenese one.

Alltogether I think they do pretty good pulling off the scary scenes.I think they should put it on Adult Swim.

It's actually been released for over a week now. I purchased the first volume with artbox. I haven't had time to watch it though, so I can't tell you the quality of the dub.

I beleive the rule is no thread necro if it's six months old. >>

So yeah, has anyone been watching season 2? (rest of this post is a spoiler)

Holy crap it was  Takano. >> I always figured she was just..creepy. Didn't see that coming, to be honest. They changed the Kai opening a bit. It shows Hanyuu a bit more, but a less noticable thing I saw is that sort of mystery person is fairly obvious now, they added to moon so that you can see the light aswell =P

Image

The person in the rain is now obviously child  Takano aswell.

Well, I must say, that the English dub.......

IS CRAP!

I went ahead and started picking it up anyway though. Rena's voice just makes me want to pull my hair out.

Anyone else think that the English dub is less than sub-standard?

Yes, duh.
God damn, those subbers are getting slower, Hauu~ released episode 14 a week after it aired and everybody else sucks.
And no, I can't download the raw and then get an .ass from somewhere, 'cause my internet sucks that damn much. (It'd take a week or more to download the raw, f*cking uTorrent is going at maximum 5 kb/s right now for some reason.)

@Dothack-Haseo
Actually, I heard the voices are a lot better on the second DVD, since the VAs have gotten more used to their roles or something or other. (Though apparently Irie-sensei's voice sucks. Stupid dubs.)
Still won't buy any DVDs though, the reasons why is because I'm poor and the closest store to me that actually sells them only has the first DVD so far, which I'd like to stay away from.

I know, each episode is like a week late now. It's really f*cking annoying. It's because of that thing where that girl murdered her dad or something, isn't it?

I saw a few clips of the dub, only voice I hated (of those I heard.) was Rena's. The rest were pretty good.

Just watched ep. 15 subbed, thank god for Hauu~'s speed-sub .ass. (I didn't manage to get it for last episode so I had to wait until they'd officially released it. T_T;)

 Takano's talk to Hanyuu after the credits was epic.

Yeah, they used to air it on wednesday-thursday but every channel except one stopped airing it so now it airs during sunday-monday.

I just downloaded a torrent for 14, I don't think I can go back to those crappy ass Crunchyroll episodes, these were so much better. Let's hope a google search of Hauu~ gives some results like last time, since I don't know the site. I'll probably edit this once i've seen the episode, it should be quick to download, 14 went like 60 kbs >_>;

EDIT: Aw damnit, Ep 15 is on crunchyroll and I can't find hauu~'s site..temptation..it burns.
EDIT 2: So I gave in and watched it, and from what I can tell..

 Hanyuu went back in time and said that to Takano who was just arriving at the village?

They don't have a website, that I know of at least. Though those speed-subs are uploaded as .ass'es on... Well, any upload site, so rapidsearch is your friend.
And then you need the episode raw, then just play it in Media Player Classic or something and load the subtitles to it.

 I dunno, nobody really knows, that scene wasn't from any of the original games.
