Nothung catches up to Riku and without giving him a chance to respond draws his his blade lights it and creates a wall of fire in front of Riku stopping him. "We have to get out of here NOW!!!!" He hits Riku on the head with the pommel of his blade the ruby glows and Riku is sent back to Mac Anu. Cubia comes through the flames. Blast! I was hoping I wouldn't have to do this. Oh, well. Nothung lights his blade and then stabs himself through the heart forcing himself to log out. He is knocked out in the real world for a few minutes but wakes up. He rubs his head. "Ow. That really stings. I always hate it when that happens. Well at least it still works after all this time." He logs back in and appears in Mac Anu.

"So," Lenae whispered, "I hope we can put the past behind us. I had no choice."
FATE merely stared.
"Can we check on Nothung?" she asked rather meekly.

FATE showed no sign of emotion but his eye soon filled with binary. The binary zoomed by for a while until it focused on Nothung in Mac Anu.

"How about Dark Blade?" she blushed as she asked

FATE shrugged and scanned through The World. In his eye flashed the message "ERROR!". She looked nervous but figured Dark Blade was okay...

Dark Blade and AngelEyes had just finished another dungeon and gated back to Mac Anu.

"That was fun!" AngelEyes said as they appeared back in town.

"Depends on your definition of fun. I seem to be doing all the fighting while you get nice EXP." Dark Blade chuckled

"Hey I wanted to ask you ..." She trailed off.

"Hmm?"

"Umm. How ... How have you been changing the music in the dungeon like you have been? Are you a hacker?"

It had completly Slipped Dark Blade's mind. He had asked Aura long ago to alter his profile so as to play music different from the game's music when he was fighting. He always found he could fight better when he had a good song to fight to. Thinking on it a bit maybe he relied on Aura for too much. Dark Blade frowned at this thought.

"If I was a hacker dont you think I would have just made you a high level instead of doing it the old fashioned way?" Dark Blade laughed.

"But no. I'm no hacker. There is a way to edit your profile so you have different music is all. Maybe i'll tell you how one day." He winked at her.

"Man of mystery huh?" She said looking him up and down suspicously.

"That sounds about right."

As Dark Blade was about to take her to the next area he noticed someone standing next to them at the gate. Upon seeing him all thoughts of leveling up AngelEyes disappeared.

"You?! Why arnt you with the others? Has something happened? Where's Lenae?"

Yep, he has a short fuse. "Don't worry. I'm fairly certain that Lenae is alright. I left her in the care of an entity called FATE. I was about to call you when some crazy stuff started happening. Let's see we were transported to a couple of white rooms and got attacked by Cubia. If Lenae listened to me then she should be safe and sound at a field that I told her about. As for the others well I forced Riku to come back here where Riku is currently I don't know. I am here because after I went chasing after Riku and made him return here I killed myself so that I wouldn't be put into a coma by Cubia. I'm gonna head off to meet Lenae now . You may follow me if you wish it. The field is Hidden, Forbidden, Niflheim." Nothung enters the keywords and warps to the field. Save for a patch of earth that is lit by a ring of torches the entire field is covered in mist not even a single ray of sunlight can get through. Indistinct ghostly voices are heard coming from the mist. Just as I remember it.

'FATE. FATE. FATE. Why do I know that name? ... Cubia appeared again, thats a bad sign. At least they got away from it.'

"I'm sorry AngelEyes but i'm cutting our leveling session short for now. But I expect you to keep leveling while im not there."

Dark Blade warped to Hidden Forbidden Niflheim right behind Nothung, scythe at the ready just in case.

As he squinted into the mist that was in the area he saw shadowy figures moving around in it.

"I rather like this area. It brings me a sense of peace." Dark Blade said to Nothung.

'I thought I knew all of the lost grounds. Apparently there are some even I dont know about.'

Dark Blade ran the blade of his scythe through the mist. It wrapped around the blade and tugged gently on the weapon. He removed his scythe from the mist.

"So whats this area called?"

"This place is Hidden, Forbidden, Niflheim. We thought it might be the mists below the cathedral but there's no way to know. We used to call it the mist of death." Nothung chuckles he then looks around the small lit area but he doesn't see Lenae or FATE anywhere.Where are they?

Nothung sits on the ground to wait for Lenae. "And don't think that your bracelet will protect you because it won't. We nearly lost one of our own who thought they would be. We managed to retrieve them before it was too late, thankfully. But it was close. Once you venture into the mist you have only a few seconds before becoming lost...forever." He closes his eyes. "So who was that other player that was with you before?"

Dark Blade looked back over into the fog.

"Mist of death. Catchy."

"To answer your question though, the person I was with was merely a friend. To have someone you can count on in any situation is a precious comodity. I was helping her reach that point."

He looked around again. "I thought you said you were meeting Lenae?" Dark Blade narrowed his gaze on Nothung.

"Well?" Dark Blade tapped the base of his scythe on the ground.

"Apparently she didn't listen to me. I'm sure that she is alright. I doubt FATE would let something happen to her. I get the feeling he needs her help with something. I already sent her a message she should be arriving soon." Nothung opens his eyes and gets up. "I just remembered. I need to recharge Nothung. It's been two years and I hadn't recharged it for a while." He draws his blade and points it into the mist. "Burn Nothung!" The mists recede a short distance and Nothung walks into the mists a small bubble surrounds Nothung keeping the mist and the shades at bay. "It's more depleted than I had thought. Oh well can't be helped." He retracts the barrier around him to just a few centimeters around him and begins cutting down ghosts. Eventually one gets in a hit but Nothung eliminates that one immediately and makes his way out of the mists. "There we go. Back to full power." Nothung sheaths Nothung and then heals himself. He turns to DarkBlade. "So while we're waiting what is it that you wanted to ask me?"

(Sorry for the delay I had a party to go to. I would like you all to know that Ganheim will join)

The music of the strange area changed to latin once again. A loud rumbling sound followed by a C5 note echoed throughout the area. Invisible razors tore through a small section of mist and some binary became exposed. FATE stepped through into the light of the torches followed by Lenae. Lenae immediatly ran to Dark Blade and held his hand.

"So Lenae," asked Nothung, "Do you know anything about this place?"

Lenae shrugged and replied, "Not really, the AI's are told not to come here. The dead people live here."

At that reply FATE opened his mouth. A loud electronic hiss emitted from it followed by the crackling of a speaker. A voice began speaking and the party realized it was a recording.
" MISTED CEMETARY, PARLEA DELSORTA. PARLEA DELSORTA IS THE BURIAL GROUNDS AROUND THE HULLE GRANZ CATHEDRAL. THE CEMETARY BEGAN IT'S USE WHEN THE SURROUNDING LAKE DRIED UP. IT IS SAID THAT WHEN A PLAYER DIES ON THE OUTSIDE, THEIR CHARACTER DATA MAY REMAIN INTACT AND ROAM MALIGANTLY THROUGHOUT THE CEMETARY AND OTHER AREAS. END TRANSMISSION"

FATE closed his mouth and watched the others.

yes it seemed like FATE was capable of many things but i couldnt take the chance of losing lenae because she is needed. So i had no choice but to try to get Cubia away before he came after us with lenae. Also i can tell you that there are three braclet users. I'll tell you there names another time. Also i wasnt being stupid, I always think my actions through before actually trying. I know what i can and cant do. thanks for the concern though. So what are you doing now, have you met with dark blade? is lenae there? have you found out any information? remember whenever you need my help just message me. Also can you tell me whatever information you get from dark blade. Be careful though because we dont know much about him...

P.S. I've also just met this person named Clea. I dont know what she knows but I know that she knows some stuff. I'll talk to her and if i get anything ill tell you.

he then turned back the one who called themself Clea...

"I guess our theory about this place was correct then. I do so hope everybody is ready. I don't want to be forced to spend more time than is necessary here." Nothung draws his blade and point it into the fog. "Burn Nothung!" This time a large area of the mist is cleared away revealing some graves scattered throughout the area. "Stay away from the edges some of the shades can still get in but they won't be able to last long, usually." The group begins making their way through the fog. Along the way Nothung receives the message from Riku and responds without pausing.

Eventually they come to a grave with an obsidian stone at the foot of it. Nothung stabs the stone with his blade. A loud rumble is heard and from the grave a skeleton rises carrying a spear and it immediately attacks Nothung who has just enough time to withdraw his blade from the stone and deflect the attack. The skeleton launches a seemingly endless string of attacks.

True to her words, her model looks VERY different. Her old samurai robes were replaced with a full suit of armor, without a helmet. She recently went through her job extension to get her Steam Gunner class.

"Well...Not exactly. Something horrible is likely about to take place in "The World" and I've no idea if we can stop it....Aura was...no...IS the ultimate AI. But What Macha said bothered me. they were going to make another Aura...then it occured to me everything has a opposite....and the next closest thing to Aura that exists right now actually is Morganna. It'd be impossible to use her to make another Aura because Morganna is already aware of herself so instead of repeating the loop why not simply use the oppertunity to complete herself? Or perhaps create another 'ultimate' AI who's sole purpose is to damage or perhaps even delete Aura? Plus with the Eight phases on standby waiting for commands she could simply take control of them again.... any way you look at it if Morganna is awakened it won't be good....I need to get into contact with Lenae and see if she knows if there's anything we can do to make sure that doesn't happen."

Dark Blade merely stands back from the skeleton pushing Lenae behind him, at the same time he draws his twin blades. This was a rare chance to get an estimate of Nothung's power and abilities.

When Dark Blade stood at the ready just in case the skeleton got past Nothung he noticed something. His Abyss Blades were absorbing the light from the fires and slowly the light was going out.

"Crap." He muttered to himself and quickly put his weapons away.

Even with the blades put away the light had still dimmed and was not coming back.

"We may have a problem." Dark Blade said as a shade took a swipe at his face. He grabbed it's wrist and threw it over his head into the mist on the other side of the path.

"I wonder." He said looking up.

((OOC: just to specify. My scythe is called Black Tempest and my twin blades are called Abyss Blades. Those are the only 2 weapons/weapon types i have shown so far.))
