Devil May Cry 3!

that game is awesome! anyone else ever play it, and what's your faviorte things about (cutscene, style, weapon, enemy, etc)

mine is the first few cutscence, fav style is quicksilver

Vergil was the only reason I got the game. If he wasn't in it I wuold have just did what I did the DMC 2 bought it, beat it, traded it in/broke it.

dmc 2 was a nightmare... 3 was great in my opi. and 4 looks like a let down.

It was good. I really liked the fast pace fighting. Weapons weren't half bad. For style though I always chose trickster.

I love the same but I'm stuck on very Hard mode on lvl 18 where you gotta fight at least 3 bosses. Can't beat AR.

But, somehow I beat Bloody Palace with LDK (not super, regular).

And it's my favorite game by the way.

Just make them hit each other. Also Angi is weak to Cerberus so take him out first but also hit Ruda to keep his Hp low as well. I suggest you use Cerberus and Beowulf.

from what i have seen of it (including a speed run) I have to say the game is very well designed. very fast paced and interactive battle wise. the cutscenes were also pretty funny at times.

Off topic: I've heared from many people that DMC2 was bad. could someone explain to me why it was a turn off for most fans.

and plese none of that "becuse it sucks" without some proper reasoning behind that opinion.

I agree with Vahn Staffear if not for Vergil being included as a playable character I wouldn't have gotten it. Dante's badass and all but Vergil is badass^10 , katanas own by the way.

I ment if he wasn't in the game period he wasn't added untill special edition as a playable character.

I saw DMC 4 and to be honest, it doesn't look that bad at all. Plus, Liam O'Brien is doing work in it and I think we all know exactly what he's contributed to .hack//G.U.

DMC 2 was just not as fun as the others and a little boring at times, something thats bothered me in all of them is that when dante pulled theh sword\ scythe out of his body there were never any wounds and his clothes were never torn

Personally, I didn't think it sucked, but it's still the worst one. Mostly it was just something that leached off the success of DMC. The level design was sad, it was notably easier compared to DMC, the combat system wasn't that greatly designed as DMC or DMC3 especially. Though a few ideas that I didn't like were proposed in DMC2 and were carried to DMC3 like a weapon changer without using the menu (though DMC3 you could only have 2 Devil Arms and 2 guns).

And I am awaiting DMC4 greatly. Nero seems pretty bad ass and I like what I've heard of his EN voice. "Now I know, this hand was made for sending guys like you back to hell!" (which is kinda of an odd thing to say for a guy who's trying, or as far as I know, to undo Sparda's spell.)

The idea of switching from Sword Master, Trickster, Royalguard, and Gun Slinger makes me hot.

Finally a good action game for the PS3. It'll mark the true start of the new generation in Extreme Action, which it ironically started 5 years ago.

I honestly don't know why DMC 4 is getting so much hate. i saw several viseos of it and it still looks like the classic DMC that people love so much.

I think that when a game becomes a major hit, people tend to be incredibly harsh on the sequels.
