So, it seems that more and more people love the Yaoi.

You wonder why? I mean, nothing against gays but why?

Anyways, with the rise of Yaoi and general strangeness, has Yuri become rare or just not heard from due to the overwhelming Yaoi stuff out there?

What is the general status of Yuri in Japan?

And is it found more in manga or in video form?

PS. I am in no way looking for Yuri. I just want to know it's general status in Japan and such. I can pose these questions a freely as I can since I am 20 years old, so no, I am not 12 or anything like that. Well then. Discuss away.

I heard yuri's popularity in Japan is quite low.

And Newbie, the majority of the forum are guys. That like girl on girl action. And the majority of those guys like Alkaid, so yuri pics involving her get plus infinite points.

perverted anime guy X overly violant and sexy anime girl = WIN
anime guy x Deformed Anime Girl = WIN (usually)
anime girl x Deformed Anime Guy = WIN (usually)
kight x princess = reduntant
anime girl x anime girl x anime girl = WIN
anime guy x dog = fail
anime girl x cat = fail
toster x cubia = fail
shy and quiet anime guy x phychotic murderus and scary anime girl = WIN

Do the math. (yes i do have major issues)

as for yuri. is yaoi really more populer? i wasn't awere of that. i don't know how well the yuri industry is doing.

I'm not ashamed to say i'm a little homophobic when it come to guy on guy...but girl on girl doesn't bother me at all.
