I love Trigun, it's one of the first manga/animes I seen and I thought it was elaborately thought through for as short as the anime is. While it is butchered by CN, I was impressed with how well Johnny Young Bosch did with Vash, very intriguing actually..
Thought their were some slipups in the voice acting, I have to say it's one of the better dubs I have watched. Especially how funny it is, and with Bosch's voice doing it, I can't help but laugh in the episode where he's getting his gun fixed with the drunk bastard going gay on him lol. While the episode number and name escape me at the moment, I can't forget the look of Vash squirming like a worm.

Trigun was probably the first anime I saw that was.. for lack of a better word.. bipolar. I loved how it would switch from hilarious comedy to great action instantly and then switch back just as fast. Vash is still one of my favorite heroes, especially since I see his personality imitated for a lot of other action/comedy characters. Goofy one second and awesome gunfighter the next.. he is just made of win.

As I've said before.
Vash the Stampede is my dream man. *_*
I still laugh at the episode where they write his name on a board and misspell it "Vash the Stanpede." (Yes, I know that "np" often elides into "mp" in Japanese, like with "tenpura" being pronounced "tempura," but still.)

Vash get's them both for a few year's, before knife's makes a new one and use's it to shoot off vash's arm. Then he activate's the angel-arm on vash's gun and after that his original gun is destroyed/not seen again.
