One thing I hate about America is that people in it are so rude.

It's fun to poke them and run away though. They can't chase you for long distances. :D

Yar, well.... only in AUSTRALIA do we eat an animal from our national coat-of-arms thingo. Kangaroo = not tasty 'parently. (I wouldn't know, I don't do red meat)

I'd poke the fatties with you, but I wouldn't wanna lower their self-esteem. I'd rather whack 'em over the head with my Health + Human Development textbook. That'll learn 'em.

This post feels... empty. >_>

Compared to a lot of countries, America is pretty darn good. If you're stupid, it's your own darn fault. XP

You got a point and sadly I agree with you. It's only some Americans out of the bunch that are better than others prime example the mods and admins on dothackers and AT :D

I lol'd at AAAAAAAAALL of the generalizations.

America is win.
I heart America.

Now, let's see how many people say I'm ignorant in saying that and yet they can go and proclaim how their country is winner without getting snapness.
AHAH
AHHAH

society.

Okay, that was just as bad. D:

but seriously.
Don't act like America is the only country with its problems. :|
I'M PROUD TO BE AN AMERICAN WHERE AT--

Teenage angst and immaturity. Nothing seems to bring me more joy and entertainment.

"Fight the power man. This country (America) sucks and it's everybody's fault except mine! Hey! You! Listen to me whine and **** while I make absolutely no effort to lift a finger to fix any of the 'problems' that I waste countless moments of my life complaining about. Why should I be like every other lazy, fat American? It's not my problem. Let them fix it FOR me. If you get stuck, use me as a model citizen. After all, despite my lack of government experience or overall expertise on a majority of the matters I rant about, I still know better than you do."

"You Americans are so damn fat and arrogant; it's disgusting. Sure, our country may have a dark past of enslavement, murder, corruption, and have a poverty-stricken lower class like yours (doesn't matter), but at least we don't have as many fat asses as you Americans (even though we're getting there). So you guys suck, we rule. Deal with it. Nya nya. Besides, we're not American, so we know better. Take a lesson from us, because you guys have been riding your high horse for too long."

People are funny like that. Words keep coming out in many shapes and forms, but this is all I keep hearing.

Yar, that was harsh. Sure, America isn't perfect, but no country is. Well, 'cept Australia of course. *cough*severedrought*cough*

I must say, that's the general impression given of your country by the media, but I've learned from experience that it's wrong in many cases. Heck, 3 years ago, I hated America loads. Now I wanna live there, go figure.

Props for personal growth and maturity. Boo for the ignorances of childhood.

For all those who hate America, why don't you tell us where you are from and what is do damn great about your country? Like what has your country done for the rest of the word or itself that can be given good merits?

I don't know if this qualifies, because I don't live in America. But similar to here. There are examples of driving:

- Persons drive with one hand.
- Women drive giving attention to the child (looking backwards)
- People drive crazy "corte de pastelillo" for example.
- New stance on sedan cars. Slam on the front and lifted on the back (like a dragster).
- 55mph is really 65mph.
- Police pass in front of the point of meet of racing and don't do anything.
- And finally. some people don't know to click the headlight switch (leave it at high all the time).

Indeed. Counterculturalism, for all the intelligent fee thinking that is thought to go with it, is really just another biased opinion. But it's not even counterculturalism, as you well put it; human narcissism, although necessary, is the route of the problem.

Rather than putting it so pretentiously, you could just call it hypocrisy.

I'm not being pretentious, I just happen to speak that way when addressing concepts such as this. Believe me, my own self-importance as nothing to do with this, as that would in-turn be the hypocrisy we both pointed out.
