Right now I would have to say that the most annoying anime character for me right now would be Flonn from Disgaea.

Her voice is like 1000 small prickling needles in my brain...not to mention that I just want to slap her for being so stupid.

Jesse , James and Meowth..........I mean come on they're comedic value worn off years ago , the only purpose they seem to have now is that of annoyance. Oh yeah before i forget the Ash , Misty , Brock , etc. I hate as well because of thier stupidity when it comes to falling into every friggin trap "The 3 Stooges" have ever laid out for them. Are they reall so idiotic that they can't recognize Team Rocket when they put on they're mediocre costumes that really does nothing to hide thier true identities?

Clearly you are not familiar with the term PLOT DEVICE.

This small little detail enable's so many thing's to happen. It start's off everything, set's everything on a role toward's the new stuff and it also is incredibly repetitive.

Aside from that it make's for a better story. I mean, would frodo realy have gone to a whole 10 hour documented journey when all he could've done was just eat the ring? Would superman even be sucsessful if there wasn't one rarely known weekness which somehow every badguy seemed to get their hand's on?

Finally, if you didn't have a plot device, what need would there be for a plot? with nothing to activate it, all genre's of television, animation and game's would realy be more of a 'you should have been there' lame ass counter-strike fairy tale only every now and then the goodguy falls flat on his face.

At first I thought they were annyoing, and Ash is pretty stupid about them. .
But when I look it closely. . Yeah, without team Rocket, the story about Ash will be very boring and no plot at all

Evangalion. I don't think I've ever hated a main character more.

Next in line. Inuyasha. He was ok in the very beginning....then somewhere i lost track of I decided everyone in that group needed to be killed off somehow....except Sango....
