End of Inuyasha: Sucky or Not?

Post by DotHack-Haseo »

In the very last episode of Inuyasha, Naraku get's away, and Inuyasha and company are standing in the middle of a dirt road. Inuyasha say's: "Wherever he goes we will follow until the day we defeat hm."

Then the credits roll, and Inuyasha says, during the credits: " Thanks for watching the Inuyasha animated television sereis. Our journey's on the small screen has ended, but stay tuned to the manga where our journey's will continue" Then it ends.

What is everyone's opinion on this?

Haha. I thought the ending was lame... but then again I thought the whole anime was lame. =__=;;

Still, it wasn't that good of an ending. It's a bad cliffhanger. Now people are going to and buy the manga and whatnot just to see what happens.

I totally agree with you, I mean, I do read the manga, but only the ones that take place after the animated series. I'm up to the one where Seshomaru and Kagome both get trapped inside the Shikkon Jewel. That's where it is right now anyway.

But yeah, the anime ending to me just flat out sucked. More a less just as much as NGE did.

That does sound pretty lame. I liked it in the beginning, but it just went downhill for me. I was happy for season 2 (when Inuyasha learns the backlash wave), but it went down again.

I heard a lot of plots were used over and over again. I was getting bored and just stopped... How many episodes is it now? I hear it's very long... And now they aren't even givin the ending? It musta got cancelled before the ending (Like Rurouni Kenshin)...

I haven't been keeping up, so I didn't know about new episodes and didn't even know the ending was aired. Wait, was this in Japan, or the US?

Too many episodes. I hate anime's with lots of fillers and whenm fights last for more then 1 episode. I loved inuyasha but it just kept gettin gayer over the years. I was sad when Fullmetal ended, but dident care that Inuyasha did, even tho i had been watchign ti sine it startin airing on YTV.

Yeah, I saw the ending in English. That was the only Inuyasha episode I ever stayed up to watch and actually record.

At first, the anime was pretty good. But then it just got lame... then lame-err. I forgot what they were called, but there were a few episodes toward the end (sort of) that were interesting. I forget what they were about though.

I think there are 167 episodes total. I thought there were more for some reason. :\

They said there was a slight chance they might do another series finishing the story but that isn't likely. Basically there was a crew falling out or something and they ran out of material anyway so they just said "screw it let's end it now"

My friend said that they're making a sequel. Or they were planning to and it got dumped... unless I heard it wrong and she said that they should make a sequel. Heh. ^^;

I don't follow Inuyasha. I just know that it kept going, and going, and going, and going.

They diddn't kill the bad guy.
Inu Yasha's first love, yeah the dead pile of mud is alive and kicking.
They diddn't complete the jewel.

I wouldn't have been surprised if the last scenes didn't feature Kagome waking up to realise it was all some strange dream.

Lets see how long this lasts.
