I actually kinda expected it.

It is based on a online game =.=;

For all I know Aura is some girl trapped in a cyber coffin underneath the CC corp building with test tubes going in her.

What about Tsukasa being a gender?

You can be what you want, you can develop a video game with realistic graphics and etc...and yet you can't get a girl's legs to work and the world to be filled with more than a grayish color tone.

My God the .hack world is depressing, every time the real world is shown through the game it's depressing.

Aura doesn't have an IRL self. Kinda defeats the entire purpose of THE ENTIRE SERIES AS A WHOLE.
