Does Haseo ever remember him from the forest of pain?, because in rebirth when he sees him he only says:he looks familiar

haseo didnt have much contact with him in forest of pain, and besides he was focusing on something else. he cant be blamed really for not remembering him

Actually, when he saw Taihaku, he noticed that he looks familiar.

Also remember that there is a six-month gap between Shino being Data-Drained and the end of .hack//Roots.

I wouldn't be surprised if Haseo couldn't entirely remember Taihaku, especially given the circumstances.

I've got a seperate question. When Phyllo asked Taihaku if the weapon he got was worth the trouble, what did Taihaku say? I want to know if Haseo got the better deal or what.

Memory serves, he thinks Haseo may've actually got a better deal with the upgrade, and even suggests that Haseo truely completed the event.

Well, his memorable line in Vol.3 is, "What did the Forest of Pain show to you, Haseo?" He says it to himself as Haseo is leaving Icolo's @HOME...

Ahh, okay. I just kinda remember a silence after Phyllo asked the question, and I'm sure he said something else (but I couldn't remember). And I haven't seen the whole series yet, due to Cartoon Network starting over(Jerks)... So, I dunno if I missed something.
