StarCraft 2

Post by Bleu »

Dunno if there are still any fans of this game around anymore but I'm stoked about the fact of it anyway.

Was watching Startrek on G4 when I saw a little blurb from The Feed and it said Blizzard is finally working on Starcraft 2. I wonder who the 4th race will be (Xel'Naga or that super Protoss/Zerg race or something entirely different).

Also a few rumors flying around about a possible MMORPG StarCraft but who knows.

I'd have to be a Firebat in that MMO 8)

It'll be fun to see how the story plays out in SC2. If Jimmy doesn't kill Kerrigan I owe a lot of people money :(

lol what started off as a joke is going to eventually turn to a reality with WoS. I read something about it but i cant find the link. ill have to look for it again.

as for SC2 i was wondering when they would make a sequal to brood war. Hopefully that will come out soon, if it is.

anyone remember the once much anticipated Starcraft:Ghost? whats going on with that blizzard?

The rumors about a StarCraft MMO are completely false. Blizzard officially confirmed that the rumor was false and that they have no plans whatsoever for any MMO projects beyond the expansion of World of WarCraft, the Burning Crusade.

As far as StarCraft 2 goes, I think it's only a matter of time. Everyone's waiting for it and Blizzard knows it. I wouldn't be surprised if it was announced in the next couple years. At this point, though, it's only rumors. There is one recent rumor that says there might be a SC2 beta by years end.

Man, I remember first hearing about "Ghost". That was a long time ago...

I read somewhere that Blizzard is going to shut down battle.net for SC so that players will have to go buy SC2. Confirmation, anyone?

It's been so long now, they should really just skip StarCraft 2 and move right along to 3. :P

Starcraft Ghost to my knowledge was a project that was tossed around like an old glove then finally tossed out. As for SC2 would love to play it because i would really like to know wtf happens to some of the main characters because when i finished brood war and saw that Kerrigan... well u get the idea, must find out what happened to the protoss, and whats this I here about a protoss/zerg hybrid?

Yea... I read it. It was the same article I was talking about. Now that I think about it, it seems kinda rediculous. Would blizzard really shut down the servers for SC? I mean, they still got televised matches in Asia, right? A lot of people would get mad.

They arent shutting down Starcraft. Especially if they want money.

Most Money comes from Korea to feed Blizzard.

Well, Blizzard has officially, on the record stated that they are not developing nor plan to develop any other MMOs. There will be no World of Starcraft. Whatever article you're talking about, it's wrong. Blizzard never said they'd be making a MMO other than World of WarCraft and The Burning Crusade.
