Why do you want them? I never found them useful really.

I found them VERY useful, especially when you grow bored of wandering around dungeons, but want to finish the game :]
I forgot about using them in dungeons. I always do the whole dungeon incase of rare items.

Can't you trade for them too? I mean, it's not a purchase only item is it? I vaguely remember trading for them.

Yes, I'm pretty sure you can. I can't remember which players have them though.

Fairy orbs are useless in this game ;D
except for dungeons, but then again it would be MUCH LESS FUN AND POOINTLESS with them. . .

I believe fairy's orbs can also be found in the destructible objects

The point is to see where the Gott Statue and paths to different floors are so you know not to go there until you've cleared the rest of that particular floor. I use them all the time. Otherwise you might get the gott statue, then have to clear the rest of the floor and then walk through a bunch of empty rooms just to get back to the warp point. That's a waste of time if you ask me. The Fairy's orbs on IMOQ used to even show us where the monsters are if I remember correctly.

That pretty much all they're used for. just to help you get to the gott statue the fastest way.

Maybe that's what you use the fairy orb for, just to find the fastest way to clear the dungeon. But a lot of people use it to make sure they get all the treasure and what not instead of having to backtrack through a dungeon.
