Saddest anime death

Her name is Flay.

And I beleive that the best moment has to be...well...Kikyo's death in inuysaha...the time she dies at mount hakuray...even though she isn't dead,it was pretty sad.

Aside from that, people see elfien lied and even hardcore anime fan's, such as myself weren't expecting anything too bad, violent or horrible. What we got was a decapitated arm to beguin the whole serie's. Need I say more.

I reacted the way i did for a few reason's:

1-I'm evil and thus found the death rate of human's and diclonus' to be hysterical.

2-we knew lucy was plain badass with 4 arm's at a 2 meter radius, nana was innocent but at the same time not with 2 arm's and a bit further radius but mariko was just straight up screwed up twisted evil with 26 at an 11 meter radius. I was actually cheering for the goodguy's then.

3-2 twisted life's had ended and were going to live with there mother up in heaven-i was cheering for them.

4-I was just plain happy to see them both die for some reason.

more gore and nudity then the story?
no way. thats why the story overshadows thsoe minor things by far.
i guess it just wasn't the right kind of thing for you to watch to get its true, full experience :/

edit: ahh! you're talking about gundam seed now. almsot read stuff then, i'm watching it at the moment and its turning out to be pretty amazing

I will have to go with elfen lied as well but for the daeth of Koutas little sister.

I mean the pian of watching your best friend kill your little sister..ouch.

...Hell, most of the deaths in ImaBoku, just because they were inevitable and you already knew most of them would die.

Only three characters out of the recurring cast are alive in the end.

Also, I just saw Major Wong die last night on Mai Otome, after doing who knows what with his adopted daughter (wont go into detail). It was very predictable, but still pretty sad, cuz of how Nagi used it to his advantage.

I can tell you one of the funniest deaths I've seen. From Gundam Seed, at the beginning when Kira kills Miguel with Sword Striker. IT cracks me up everytime I see it. The way Athrun yelled 'MIGUELLLLL!!!' was priceless.

I really think the saddest character deaths are the one without that plot twist where they're still alive, never died, revived, alive in an alter dimension.

I guess if you look at it like that...

But at least Hughes hasn't come back in the manga.

Yeah that was a funny death. Another funny death is when Heine is sliced in half with a dog with beam sabers as wings. "HEEEEINEE!!!". I wonder why all the characters T.M. Revolution voices in the Gundam Seed series always gets chopped in half by beam sabers.

Well, Tsukasa didnt die die but when he guardian datadrained him, he died in the game (i destinctly remember him falling to the ground and turning gray--signifying his death. I'm not sure if he was actually killed all those times in the hidden area by Morganna, so I said killed or beat up.

And about the Miguel thing---I'm not a jerk, sometimes I just have a cruel sense of humor. Like during a show called Love Love, the main character snaps and he has a dream of revenge that had me rolling.

Chrono Crusade was a sad ending, but it was also satisfying to know that those 2 died together.

Oh! How about when Leomon died (Digimon Season 3---that guy's aways getting killed.)That was pretty sad for Jeri. Then she went all emo-puppet.

Chrono Crusade, it was sad when I read it in a small article in some magazine. But when I watched it I wanted to stick my finger down my troat just for a reason to leave the room. No offence to anyone else.

Leomons death was sad, and if that kid wasn't wierd enough to begin with.

Yeah, he died in Season 1, right? When he was Saberleomon. I doubt they are the same Leomon, but he did die in Season 1, right? I think it was when he was fighting Metaletemon... And Ogremon was sad about it too, I think. OH, when Wizardmon dies in Season one was very sad too.

Wormmon dying in Season 2 was pretty sad. It snapped Ken out of his evil ways. I don't remember it well, but I'm sure it was sad (I like Wormmon, and Stingmon kicks ass). Oh, Angemon dies when he defeats Devimon. Poor lil TK...

Man, I miss this show... I can't really remember half of these...
