Yea it's fairly new for people in America but not in Japan and of course Gust/Branpresto is going to take advantage of it's popularity there since it's extremely popular in Japan from what I've heard.

Get the first one, it'll probably be a year before part 2 comes out in the states if NISA decides to even bring it over.

Ugh, maybe it's just me, but I'm so sick of Gust's games. Then again, I was all set with them after playing Atelier Iris. Maybe I'm just burnt out from clichéd anime JRPG's. They've been pumping these sprite-based RPG's out like crazy, though.

It's just you, I can never get enough of em. I love the Gust games and as long as NISA brings them over I'll continue to buy them, these RPGs are better then most of the RPGs out now a days.

wow, where've I been??
I've only seen....about 10% of all games I've ever seen are sprite based (not counting handhelds)

personaly i think these gust games are some of the best games ever!

anime 2-d sprites.
very cute characters (they are almost always smileing; even in battle!)
very unique battle system and item creation.
usually decent to good storys.
quick and easy battle system.
Way more elements than most games.

and finaly

best..... boss...... music...... ever......................EVER!!!
(see my thread)
red lucifer rising and decitful wings FTW!

one thing they do need is to add more difficulty or another difficulty mode.

also i prefer the "atelier iris grand phantasm" and "valkyrie profile" way of doing the story. very non-linier.

this is "what the...???" signing off

No clues on where to get it cheap or when there will be a price drop, with the the NISA published games it's best to get them ASAP as they usually only print a limited amount of them and they tend to become rare in a lot of places.

I was referring to Gust themselves, not the entire industry.
