am i doing something wrong..

Post by mazuroni »

people everywhere tell me that it took them approx 100 hours to play through imoq.. i just finished infection in 14.. i watched all the cutscenes and movies, i spent some extra time leveling up and getting crap to sell for money.. do these people mean 100 hours to complete them all at 100%, all rare items or something? or are the next 3 games just that long?

It means all the games together. It actually took me around 245 hours all together, but this is only becuase I left my Playstation 2 on all night.

well i knew it was the total for all 4 games, but if you divide that up, thats 25 hours per game, and i only took 14.. that means it either includes all the extras, rare items, etc, or that the next 3 games are way longer than this one..

well its a funny thing.. i had checked every gamestop/eb in the immediate vicinity.. and i had found 3 and 4, which are worthless without part 2 so i could actually continue.. and i had pretty much given up when i saw this place that has like 90% used dvds and a tiny section of video games.. maybe 30 or 40 games total so i figured what the hell.. i looked and it jumped out at me.. so i grabbed it and practically ran to the register lol

Most of the ones I brought up the counter weren't available and someone was too lazy to take off.

I checked the website and they had 2,3, & 4 at the gamestop near my house but the dumb-ass guy didn't want to find 4 but had the case, so i went back a week later and he didn't have the case to 4 but had the game. Is it just me or are game store workers lazy?

If memory serves me right, Infection took me the longest out of the 4. I'm pretty sure it was for the same reason that G.U. vol 1 is taking so long - I didn't know what the hell I was doing and hadn't played an RPG since FF7 was new. It seems like the average person would probably clock in about 100 hours after completing and unlocking everything including the  Item completion event at the end of quarantine, and maxing out all Ryu books. I'm at 103 hours but still have some wrapping up to do. I finished the IMOQ storyline the day before G.U. Vol. 1 came out so I had to put Quarantine back on the shelf. Once I finish G.U. vol. 1, I'm going back to finish  the item completion event, my ryu books, and leveling up my .hack//sign characters. Then I should be at 100%
