*ovan questions* (spoilers)

Then how does she fall asleep? I mean, it almost looks like in the middle of everything she said "Lolz, AIDA. Nappy time!" and then fell asleep without finishing the things she started.

And on the topic of Ovan, If he's trying to get Ina back why doesn't he just let AK drain him? Wouldn't that erase the AIDA in him, therefore solving everything..?

Ina's and Ovan's AIDA is so deep within their PC's data draining them wont extract them...this was proven in vol 2 in the last boss fight. Ovan would have to erase his PC to kill the AIDA.

She wanted to sleep of her own free will, and did so so that humanity could stand on it's own two feet. Clearly it's become too dependant on her. She stops running the internet and we get another Pluto's Kiss incident. That's not right.

Though she's not totally apathetic. She created the Azure Knights, but once the AIDA began attacking, she put them into action and went neutral.

If Skeith can't do it, there's no way Azure Flame Kite can.

Plus removing a PC's AIDA doesn't seem to restore whoever was killed by them. Or at least Alkaid doesn't come back until Ovan resets the system despite Bordeaux being data drained by Haseo not long after she killed her in the first place.

It took multipule data drains from a second form skeith to even allow Ovan to use rebirth,so there is no way that
Azure Kite's data drain,which seems less effective than epitaph users drains,could hurt the AIDA even a little bit.
I beleive Ovan actually threw his AIDA in the way of Azure Kite's data drain in one episode of roots,when he was about to use it one him.
Of course,the scene was a little chopped up,so you don't see exactly what happens,but I personally think Ovan used his AIDA as a sheild against data drain.
On that note,after Shino died Ovan seemed more partial to using the AIDA arms to defend himself,didn't he?
But then there is the fact that Azure Kite didn't chase Ovan down until Shino was killed,so that would debunk that theory.

Thats because Ovan spreaded the AIDA in the first place.

vol 2
Ovan gave Sakaki some AIDA is Item form.
Sakaki gave Bordeaux the item telling her she would receive power if she used it.
She used it PWNED ElkAIDS.

vol 3
Ovan Resets the system thus killing the main source of AIDA...himself.
Everybody wakes up except Ovan.

All AIDA is connected,and thus killing one dosn't bring back the lost ones.
They are all natural parts of the system that mutated thanks to the single <tri edge> AIDA that attacked and attached to Ovan,which was the first to mutate,and because all AIDA are connected,it caused all other AIDA to mutate.
Ovan used rebirth and killed them as a whole,not just what could be considered a skin flake of AIDA,which is all that AIDA-pc's basicly are.
The spreading source dosn't have any affect on the lost ones conditions.

Crow. AK didn't finish the data drain, as soon as AK pulled out the bracelet and charged of teh DD Ovan opened the lock and PKed him in an instant.The same way he PKed Atoli and Pi.

We can't assume that,because alot obviously happened inbetween the time that we saw him unlock it and the time it goes back on screen.
Besides,Atoli and Pai arn't as strong as Azure Kite was,and Azure Kite seems to become stronger when Ovan or AIDA is around.
And they wouldn't waste time showing the bubbles from AIDA go in front of Data Drain if he just killed him,they would have shown something like one or two bubbles around him,then the screne would go blank followed by a sound effect of some kind.
From the way it looks,Ovan blocked Data Drain,then Pk'd Azure Kite.
but like I said,it dosn't show enough for us to assume anyhting..so there will be no definate answer for this....not that we really care if Ovan blocked it or not.

You're the only way who thinks that. The only implication we were supposed to get out of it was that Ovan had an AIDA and used it to beat Azure Kite, and Volume Two shows us exactly how he'd have done that.

Not in that scene, but I mean, come on. The two instances even happen in the same Lost Ground. It's intended as fate repeating itself so that the audience can finally understand the first occurance.

And as far as I'm concerned,bugs and glitches are as natural as everything else.

AIDA can't block Data Drain...the reason Skeith couldn't Data Drain the AIDA from him is because like I said before it's so deep within his PC Data Drain no longer effects it...Ovan would have to erase his PC data or use the Rebirth Ability to destroy his AIDA.

No, that's not how it works. Ovan's AIDA is more or less normal (Except for being the mutant that corrupted the rest of the AIDA). It can be Data Drained, but it can't be REMOVED by Data Drain.

Immunity to being destroyed by Data Drain is a whole lot different than reflecting it like a mirror.

I'll add that he could have blocked Data Drain if he wanted to.

I never said he reflected it,but just that he used it to absorb the blast for some reason instead of it hitting him.

And I wasn't awar that they had shown the scene in any media sourse,so I can argue about it to back up my point.

When I refer to "the system" I mean the entirety of the internet,which is the grand system that everything is on.

Ovan "coud" put his AIDA between himself and the data drian,just as easily as he could put his arm in front of it.
The AIDA wouldn't be destroyed in his case,and so it would be -like- the drain was absorbed.
Not reflected or ,but the actual meaning,absoebed,just blocked.
And you can't say it isn't possible,because it's just the same as putting any other object in the way.

If the AIDA gets hit he gets hit simple as that.

I think that it would be a natural reaction to block a data drain witht he thing you hate most,even if it DID affect you.
I'd be like having.......what's a good examle....having a major disease in an arm.
You would rather get rid of the arm,even if you had to go through the pain of feeling it get cut off.
And yes,I'm aware that Azure Kite's data drain has next to no effect on Ovan or his AIDA,but I'm just implying that he -could- put it in the way.
I don't think I ever even said it wouldn't do anything to him.
Of course,he didn't ever actually do it,but he can put it between him and the drain just as easily as throwing a rock in the way,or putting his other arm in front of him.
