It's not a theory, it's fact.

BULL SH%T!

Well, it makes sense. Kite has always been aiming at Ovan before, and he's demonstrated the ability to both miss and mistake someone for Ovan, on top of which Haseo wasn't even AIDA-infected.

OK, if notes like these were this bad, what was the point in making them?

Hey now, most of the notes are pretty spectacular. The AIDA tumor theme is dumb, I'll admit, but me, Kadaaju, Kuukai, and a few other people have come to the conclusion that "Tumor" is a metaphor.

We know that the minds of Unreturners overlap with AIDA while they're in comas, and that the AIDA begin manifesting in the real world in the case of Doll Syndrome victims, so the theory is that, isnce the AIDA are like the opposite of the Vagrant AI's in every way, instead of drawing human minds IN, AIDA minds are going OUT into the brains of the Unreturners.

So it's not a literal, scientifically detectable tumor.

Hey, if Azure Kite was aiming at Ovan and hit Haseo in the cathedral, do you think that was the case in that video that Yata shows you in Vol. 1? The one that shows Azure Kite Data Draining that one random player?

I just thought I'd throw that out there...

Wasn't that because that player was either infected by AIDA or had something to do with Midori?

It's speculated that that player was Data Drained because he was infected with Midori's virus. He fell into a coma because of the virus, not the Data Drain.

I'm not exactly sure who Midori is, but thats from "CELL", right. I know a lil about that.

There's also the possibility that that scene never happened, and Yata just forged the damn video. We know he could.

If Kite was trying to DD Ovan instead of Haseo, then why did Kite telaport where Haseo,Pi,Kuhn and Atoli where in volume 1? And he didn't hold back when Haseo was going to attack...

His objective is to kill AIDA in general, so he detected AIDA and went there. And he didn't want to fight Haseo really, but since he was being owned already, he got forced to attack back.

He wasn't after Ovan that time, he was after the AIDA in the locker. He was TECHNICALLY going to save Atoli, until our favorite raging emo attacks him. He was just defending himself from Haseo.

P.S. Who cares if Haseo is gay or bi or whatever? If any anime character, ANY at all was put in the same room with the same sex, and both of them naked, they would sooner or later engange in sexual activity. <3

Wasn't holding back?If that was the case,then he would have Data Drained every one of them,instead of trying to kill them,in which case they would have just respawned in town with normal stats.
He could have sent them all back to Lv.1,but that's not what he does.
He appeared there because of the AIDA in the lockers,that's my theory.
He always draws his weapons when he appears,so you can't take that as a violent act,even in roots he never put them down unless he was data draining.
He only distorted the area when haseo charged at him,and only watched them until that point.
So in short,he did in fact hold back,alot,which is why he probably seems so low level then,and much higher at the start of vol 1 and during vol 3.

Well whatever, what I don't get is they wait till NOW to tell us? Would of been better if they showed us a clue that Ovan was there instead of pulling crap out of there ass (at the last minute) saying that Azure Kite was aiming at Ovan instead of Haseo. Because if you look back at the game and Roots, they showed no evidence that he was even there. Yeah Ovan did say he go on ahead of Haseo in Roots, but look again and it shows he never showed up. So if you ask me (make since or not) it's all BULLSH^T! The only way this can be true then is if they explain this hole Azure Kite deal in the OVA.

In roots they never show haseo being data drained,let alone what is behind him.
Ovan could have been making faces or walking with the third arm holding tea and we wouldn't know.

And it's been stated,but I'm reiterating this point:
Ovan DID walk in during G.U. and you see him,although aftercareful inspection I can agree that Ovan wasn't even at the closed doors yet,Azure Kite obvious;y thought that he could shoot through anything,and probably started charging as soon as Ovan gated in.
He probably also was trying to push Haseo out of the way with that push attack we saw,but haseo resisted and landed in the way.
I'm making a video that will show what ...probably...ran through Azure Kite's mind during that fight,even if it is a bit comical,and I'll link it,as it may help the topic,whenever I get it uploaded.

There were clues the entire series if you paid attention. Ovan was right at the fricken doorway.
