About Xth form... (spoilers maybe)

Post by Requiem »

Can you still use all your other weapons, or just the dual guns? That one movie I saw with him in Xth form only shows the guns, and I think one scythe skill. So for all I know you only get the skills and not the weapons?

Dear god, I hope I'm wrong. I would hate losing the ability to use the lost scythe and the doppel weapons..

You can still use all the weapons. And weapon-change skill is still effective.
In that video (assuming it's the same one i saw), he used a Scythe skill, so his weapon automaticly changed to a scythe. However, right after that, he used Double Trigger, so he changed back to Dual Guns (Double Trigger allows to you do a 2nd skill during Skill Trigger, and that skill is always Judgement, and always done with Dual Guns)
There is no use moving back, you can't trace back your path

Well, I noticied it too, in the video he only uses other weapons skills, but if so, I think it means he can use his other weapons as well, if not there wouldn´t be meaning in using other weapons skills nor gaining Empty Skies from Azure Flame Kite

Wow... that sounds really awesome. If you switch to judgement and you've used the skill trigger to do a rengeki, would the judgement count as a rengeki too?

What's the point in using twin blades anymore?

The sword has heavy damage.

The scythe has long reach.

The guns have fast action, plus a long range.

What's the point in twin blades?

I would think that the only usage they'd have once you get Xth form is so you have a weapon slot to fill. I can kinda see how they'd be useless once you get guns.

im sure you didn't notice the dopplganger in vol 3 aye?
if you even try to change to guns without the proper pattern, you will get yourself pwned, same for scythe, cuase there is a very long range attack for scythe.
and i do use dual blades, technically you can use whatever you wantm becuase of the double trigger.

No. All damage dealt to him targets his MP/SP or whatever instead of his HP. You have to get rid of all his SP before you can deal damage to his HP.

Does it means he have a SP healing item? Like the Vigor Crystal, or he´s so strong that´s it´s natural for him?

Hell no, easy boss fights are a waste of time.

I'd rather fight a powerful doppleganger than a weak one. I just hope that they make him harder than the "beat awakening? My one weakness!" thing.

That was a bit TOO easy.

I have a question about the Xth Form

How do you get ammo? How does that work? I doubt that ammo for an illegal class would be sold in regular shops....

Do you reload? How do you aim?

I think it automatically reloads so the ammo thing is pretty pointless. I mean if it has endless ammo then why put a number for the ammo at all?

Because if you try to fire when you're out of ammo, you end up with a pretty annoying delay, so you want to dash as you run out. Since you're aiming and moving, you have to move your eyes a lot to check the ammo gauge (or count). Using "cheat codes" (an ingame mod item) increases their ammo capacity.
