Sorry, but the A Note in C Major doesn't create telepathic links with video games. That's a whole new level in dumb theories.

You're basically saying that when The World died, Mai died with it despite the fact that she hasn't been playing since that last instance in Liminality. That implies they're psychically connected.

I didn't know she wasn't playing anymore though, so either way I'm wrong...

I dont see How Mai could have died .hack Conglomerate only kill one person so far

It´s true, no one said that it was Mai that died, so there´s another probability, he loved someone else.

Well Kadaaju's profile specifically said that the dead girlfriend was from high school. That and Kuhn did himself say that his GF had "well-kept eyebrows". Still there is the off-chance that he got another girlfirend sometime after Liminality, I kind of find hard to accept taht Mai is dead.

I doubt they would describe the person so well if it werent Mai. Shes dead, G.U. did stuff that the old .hack dident, like death and actual RELATIONSHIPS! I liked Mai ( I LOVED HER!!!), But shes dead.
