But IF Harrald would be your party member, that would mean that he´s complete, and thus would mean that you have an isntant-death ultra power house as your ally, because he´s part of the Black Box files, thus making him almost a god in the game.

LOL. Yeah
Even if his part of the Blackbox, the AI he has is badly severed now, so if he was a character, he'd do nothing unless you said an insult about Aura or something, then he'd destroy the whole field you're at.

Well the Forest of Pain probably didn't even really shut down, I mean it was stilll accessible, as Tabby showed it in .hack Roots, and Haseo got reformatted so the only reason why he couldn't go was because well.... he doesn't have the keywords anymore, either Taihaku or maybe a rumor bored gives off those keywords.

I haven't seen //Roots, but i remember reading that there was a girl behind me helping him on healing and boosting his stats. Haseo later realized this and told her to mess up somewhere, then she followed Taihaku.
And the Forest of Pain in //Roots was probably shorter...

i'm going to add that the forest of pain is likely the same as it was in Roots except that there is no event going on. Aside from Saburo's contribution to Haseo's survival, the path chosen by Haseo likely had fewer monsters. It is after all 'The World', a player can go almost anywhere and there are few boundries and limitations that dicate where a player is able to walk or climb or jump. Despite the possibility Haseo ran into fewer monsters than other players, Haseo kept pushing himself and Saburo kept an eye on him. It is likely they, Haseo traversed those 100 levels. By the way, since the layout isn't like that of an ordinary dungeon the distribution of each level was probably set up like a spider web with each level of progression becoming more challenging and with fewer, but increasingly strong monsters.

Taihaku asks about it in vol 3,asking haseo what the forest of pain showed him,so mabye he goes there to find something,like fuigure out the mystery as to why Azure Kite data drained away 3rd form(we all know,but haseo is a knuclehead and needs everyone to explain things to him,as in most games)because he finds out Azure ites not evil.....

That sounds more like a challenging question for me, something like "Show me what you've learned!"

And about Haseo being DDed and all...Maybe Taihaku didn't care about it. I'm not sure myself if Taihaku actually knew what happened to Haseo at the end/after the Forest of Pain
