This just occured to me... (minor spoilers)
Looking back at Sakkaki in Vol.2 and 3 gave me a sudden thought. Way back in Vol. 1 at the dungeon where you fight Tarvos, was the AIDA present there just incidental, or a delibirate attack by Sakaki to eliminate Keyaki in his bid to control Moon Tree?

Good theory, but even so Sakaki didn´t have control of any AIDA at that time, only in Vol. 2 he got infected thus gaining control over them.Fragments.beta wrote:Looking back at Sakkaki in Vol.2 and 3 gave me a sudden thought. If you are talking about the second ep. of Online Jack, that wasn´t him, it was a player that he somehow(probably Ovan´s help) could put an AIDA in his char. to be a test subject, but I don´t really know much about what the Doll Syndrome is....Fragments.beta wrote:Ah ok thanks AT forget my last post.
Few more questions, if Sakaki didn't have his hands on AIDA yet, how was he inflicted with Doll Syndrome? And why did AIDA words show up in his monitor?

ExactlyRick wrote:But in fact Sakaki appears in Online Jack, but only in Vol. 2, as TheSorrow said in another thread once.death angel wrote:i thouht he was Sakaki.
The name of that person who says 'Sa...ka...ki' is Osamu Kawaguchi, apparently someone who unluckily ran into Sakaki and at a bad moment (he was used a test, indeed)
The real Sakaki is called Tooru Uike
And what it's been said alot its correct...Sakaki didnt have AIDA (and perhaps didnt know about it) until Vol. 2. Perhaps Zelkova going to a dungeon with AIDA was mere bad luck (unless Sakaki used Atoli to detect AIDA, then 'invited' Zelkova...but its unprobably)
I´m starting to think that Yata planned this to happen, it´s too lucky of Zelkova to be in the same map that they went(or were sent), seeing how many AIDAs are in "The World".TheSorrow wrote:Rick wrote:Perhaps Zelkova going to a dungeon with AIDA was mere bad luck (unless Sakaki used Atoli to detect AIDA, then 'invited' Zelkova...but its unprobably)

As expected, the great Mawd Gawd resumed all our questions in one lineAuraTwilight wrote:Sakaki has been tracking AIDA since Volume 1, but he hasn't been able to control any until Volume 2. Osamu was an unfortunate victim of Sakaki, who probably led him to an AIDA-infected area.

But still, sorry to ask something again

But still, sorry to ask something again, but what the Doll Syndrome do to it´s victims?
.hack//wiki wrote:Doll Syndrome (ドール症候群) is a mysterious medical condition that causes a person to fall into an unresponsive state (like that of a doll, hence the name). Not much is known, although it has been affecting children as young as elementary school. It seems to be linked to The World R:2, and it is being investigated by Salvador Aihara for his new show Online Jack.
Haseo was powerful. He first tried to befriend him and add him to his group of pawns (Atoli, Matsu and everybody else in Moontree except Zelkova and Kaede, plus who knows how many others.) However Haseo wasn't buying his usual tactics (first he tried to play on guilt for being a PKK like he presumably did with Matsu, and then he saved him from Bordeaux like he probably did for many others.) After Matsu's arena match however he wrote him off as an enemy and just wanted to make sure he couldn't interfere with his plan, which happens anyway. I wonder how many other followers he has left in Vol.3 since the majority of the World probably still thinks of him as such a nice guy.death angel wrote:offtopic:oh and why did Sakaki want to keep an eye on haseo in vol.1?

Well, according to the .hack//wiki I do believe is that Zelkova knows about Nala being Yata, so I imagine he would also know about Sakaki's soon to be betrayal.Annwyn wrote:I bet he does, but he's staying low-key about it. I don't know for sure though.death angel wrote:offtopic again:why doesn't zelcova(sp)see this coming.with Sakaki and all.

Continuing from what Bleu said, it doesn't seem to be in Zelkova's nature to do anything that would in anyway harm anyone else, but he's able to figure out people/things quickly (knowing Nala is Yata; knowing Pai "took a shot" for him even though he couldn't see what was going on; in vol. 1 Melo Grunty tells Haseo that Zelkova "say's Haseo is his true friend").why doesn't zelcova(sp)see this coming.with Sakaki and all.
