Japanese Fansub. Won't tell you any links though. Air is a very sad and dramatic anime. Awesome artwork, story, music, lovable characters, and they do amazing skys.

Japanese Fansub. Won't tell you any links though. Air is a very sad and dramatic anime. Awesome artwork, story, music, lovable characters, and they do amazing skys.

I can't believe I never answered this.

Koi Kaze. Every time you watch it, it's like someone's taken a sharp knife and quickly jabbed it into your abdomen. It's shocking and painful. It also has a really interesting message, too. You can't help who you fall in love with, and knowing that it's wrong to love that person won't make your feelings go away.

And who are we, as humans, to put a restraint on love? Love is a quality pertaining to your heart and soul, both of which are much bigger than any physical boundaries. But we still let those boundaries stand in the way, all because we're used to letting them stand there. Moreover, we try to define an emotional phenomenon with physical connotations, which is like shoving a square peg into a circular hole. The two have nothing to do with each other and one shouldn't influence the other. It's not fair that the people to whom this happens are looked at as if they're abnormal, when the fact remains that they have no say, no control, in something much bigger than themselves.

Poor Koushiro...poor Nanoka...

Yeah, I just love this sad, raw-emotion stuff. It's so cool.

Haibane Renmei is a good anime too, chock-full of moral and spiritual metaphors and all about using the character' development as the primary story instead of the events that happen to them. Way cool.

Strawberry Panic is ridiculous and would never happen in a million years, but the characters are gorgeous, and...YURIIIII.

Elfen Lied for the pure gore.

Now and Then, Here and There deserves a mention because it actually made me cry. But it's so sad that I won't ever watch it again. That's sayin' something.

Oh, and last but not least, Yu-Gi-Oh: A Shadow Game. The first series by Toei that was canceled. It pwns the Duel Monsters thing.
