you know, the trick was pre-ordering, but anyway, to find one there are 2 ways, order it at your local game store, just ask"can i order a game?" usualy there are no additional fee. or getting it used by calling all of the local game shops and find one. usualy ordering is more effective

Balmung2 went to a video game rental store and bought it they having a sale so he bought like2-4 or something. or mabe it was just 4 or somthin but they werent in nice packages that made you made want to even look at them. it only even looked appealing afetr you opened it
i guess .hack isnt popular enouf for public reatail.in this town you have to special buy it. you cant just look thru the glass and tell the guy to to get it out so you can pay for it.

I have all four games...
But I only got the first three in a timely, ordered manner. The fourth one I got.....and immediately regretted it. It was a birthday present, but apparently the store she got it from was either suffering from "RipOffItus" or "Idiotitus", because they just gave us the game disc and the LIMINALITY DVD in a BLANK game case, no instruction manual, nothing, and they left them SANDWICHED TOGETHER.
This means that both my DVD and my game are scratched all to hell. Neither is unplayable, but it pisses me off...the person who bought it for me paid full-price and didn't get the full deal. I originally swore I just wouldn't play it until I got the problem fixed, since my benefactor swore that they would return it and rectify the store's mistake...
But it's been nearly a year, and that doesn't seem very likely. So a week or two ago I started playing, and now I have finished the series, and am trying to get to Level 99 so I can get Mia-kun back.

Meh. I'll take those odds.

Yes, they have stopped production for mutation, but you can still find it in some stores. I stated this somewhere else on another thread. Not to be rude or anything but.....yeah. Oh, and Orca, I said in that other post that I saw it in a blockbuster for rent, anyway, yeah, they woulde be hard to come across if you were looking for them new. Thats also funny/weird, they have .hack rated teen, but in the ending in .hack//gift.....

to find them you have to go to a gamestop of ebgames ask them if they have it and if they dont ask them if they could call their other stores to see if they have them you can usually find them

Yes, they've stopped production on all the games. I heard that it was because they didn't sell too well. I found #1 and #3 at my local used game store and bought #2 new. Had one heck of a time finding #4, tho. It's being shipped to me all the way from Nebraska as I type this. AND it'll cost a good $40. *sigh* Why oh why did I have to come into the .hack craze so late?

I know what ur saying about trying to find them. My only problem is finding .hack//mutation....for some strange reason..That is the only game in the series that I rarely come by. Even on ebay there are far fewer .hack//mutation's than others of the series. And in my local EB they almost always have parts 1,3, and 4.
Be what u is..cause if u be what u aint.......then u aint what u is
