"Ah, you must be Dex. Shadow left me a messenge about you as well. He mentioned that the three of you, himself included, made a great team. He was banned recently, and I recieved an email that I would take his place as guild leader of the Shadows of Eternity. Do you still have the card to get into the guild @HOME?" Chaos asked before realizing he'd forgotten to introduce himself. "My appologies, my name is Chaos-Shadow-7, but people tend to just call me Chaos... I guess it's just easier to say heh..." He says scratching the back of his head.
A silver-haired, female Multi-Weapon sat on one of the many bridges of Mac Anu, staring absently into the water. Her face was blank and expressionless, and her wolf features hanging limp and motionless.
If someone were to move close enough to this particular player, they would be able to hear two voices talking from what seemed to be from a long distance.
"Oh, you're always complaining! So what if you want a go?! It's perfectly fair! I'm older- I get more goes!" A girl's voice was saying, furiously.
"But... Ren... You were playing last night too... and I-" a second voice, ligher and clearly belonging to a younger girl began, but was cut off by the first voice.
"Shut up! So what if I was playing last night?! Jeez, you're so annoying! Fine! Play it then!"
There was no sound from the Wolf-Girl for a while, then her face became re-animatted suddenly.
Rin shifted uncomfortably, looking worried. She checked the items in her inventory, and saw that half her money was gone. She whimpered slightly. She had dared to stand up to her big sister again. This would probablly mean another week of constant harrasment. If only Ren hadn't used half of their money. She could've bought her big sister something to make up to her...
Rin wandered away from the bridge, heading towards the Chaos Gate, her hat, ears and tail drooping down shyly.
"Oh... which area should I go to? I don't have any good items to sell..." Rin muttered out-loud, looking miserable.
((To make it easier for people to know who's playing, I'll just refer to the characters as Rin or Ren, rather then Rein.))
((EDIT: Fixed some spelling mistakes.))

Glace was startled when a player that reminded him of Shadow appeared to him. Glace knew Shadow had been banned from CC-Corp and never actually found out why.
This guy's name was Chaos and he had asked me to join his guild. Thing is, Glace wasn't the guild type. He saw no meaning to joining a guild. However, this guild was formerly ran by a friend and so he felt a little bad about not joining. And before he could answer, someone shouted to us from the distance. It was Dex, another friend.
Hm....it seems their arriving. Now I can relax alittle. Glace happily thought.
Chaos began to offer Dex a spot in his guild as well and even forgot to introduce himself. I realized I had stayed too quiet for too long.
"It's nice to meet you, Chaos. And you aswell, Dex." I smiled. "I can't wait until all of us are reunited once more. It's just....it feels soo good you know. And now...and now I think we will be making new friends too."

In a random field
A massive metal axe split a monster length-wise as a young girl lifted it effortlessly back to her shoulder. With her free hand she moved he long pink hair back and smiled. "Another field clear. And even faster then before. I should have started as a Brandish three months ago. Then maybe..." She sighed sadly as her memories of that incident played over in her head. "...Just maybe, Myrddraal and Mino would still be here..."
She'd hated the fact that she couldn't help more then she did back then, only able to help because she had illegal powers. In fact, after waking up and convincing her mother that The World was safe and that it was just a glitch(As she knew more about technology then her mother), She was happy to find her old character hack-free and normal. She's changed her class from Steam Gunner to Brandish and started getting stronger. She wanted to be able to rely on her own strength, now the powers of a hacker, even if it's her best friend. Most of all, she wanted to be able to have others be able to know they could rely on her power.
As she turned to move on to the dungeon, her weapon fell from her hand. She suddenly had a horrendous headache. She fell to one knee as she groaned and waited for it to die down, her arms and shoulders beginning to hurt now. Slowly, the pain ran down her body until it seemed to get go to ground and disappear like electricity. "Again..." She shook her head and stood back up to retrieve her weapon. once it was back, she decided to left to field instead. She wanted to restock and she had new mail as well.
Renovated City of Water: Mac Anu
Nephilim appeared at the Chaos gate of Mac Anu and looked around. The number of people had seemed to increase since then. She quickly sighed and logged out to see the CC Corp mail. "A Tournament. When was I picked for this? Well, I guess this means I'll get the chance to win something." She quickly logged back in and left the gate. She looked over the crowd of people and would have just walked around if not for the fact she'd heard a familiar voice say an equally familiar name.
"Hey! Glace is that you? And Shadow too!"
Dex? She cast around and soon found him at the fountain. She called out and waved before running over. "Dex! It is you! And Glace too How are you two?" She turned to greet the final person, but then realized it wasn't shadow. "Oh... Hello. I'm Nephilim," she said to Chaos.
(BTW, I too, was given a choice to join the tournament by Shikuza_Ame. Now all that remains is the last.)

Glace was even more surprised by Nephilim's sudden appearance and approached her as she greeted us. "Nephilim! I'm glad to know your back!" He said, trying to keep a few tears of excitment from pouring down. "I can't believe we are almost back."
Then, Glace looked away and seemed a little sad. "Though I'm a little concerned." He said and closed his eyes. "I havn't seen Uraki come through here at all. Do you think she quit? Do you think it was too much for her to handle?" I asked a little hesitant.
Although he didn't really know much about Uraki, Glace knew she wasn't the type to quite. Especially knowing the conditions Minoshiya and Myrddraal were in.

in the real world
Era layed in his bed quietly humming to himself. His body trembled from the high fever he suffered. A home nurse opened the door slightly, and sneaked in.
"Any better?" she whispered. Era said nothing but continued to hum to himself. His hand however, slowly stopped trembling. His breathing began to slow, and the humming becam stronger, and less shaky.
"Nurse is he..?" A woman from behind the door said nervously.
"Yes. His body will slowly recover after the shot I gave him."
Era lifted his head to see who was behind the door. At the moment he saw her, his vision was blurry and his head felt light. He tried to lift his leg out of the bed but it was too numb from the shot. His body suddenky becam heavy, and his head feel back onto the pillow.
"I Think we should be going. He needs his sleep. He will be fine."
"Are you sure?" the woman from behind said while sobbing.
"Yes. I am Sure." the nurse the set a warm washcloth on his fore head and grouped her things into a blue suitcase that stood next to the bed. As she left the room, the woman then smiled, and turned around. Suddenly, after Era saw, her smile, he knew everything would be fine.
-------------------
3 weeks later
"Finally!" Era grabbed his head set while dragging the chair from behind him to his desk.
"Hurry! you'll miss it!" The speaker next to him yelled.
Era, but the disk into his computer and logged in. His heart continued to pound harder than normal. He knew something was wrong, but was tempted by the game, and finished logging in.
"I'm in!" He yelled as he ran out of the dome in Mac Anu.
"Where are you guys?" he asked, while looking around. His heart still pounded, now harder than ever. His body also began to warm up
'damnitt! of all the times...screw it! i've let it go before.
"Sorry you took to long! We'll show you tommarrow! Bye!" Era then heard a beeping sound next to him. He knew what it was.
"DAMN!!" he yelled, while kicking the air. "I really looked forward to seeing that. Haha." he said while laughing. He suddenly felt attracted to a player standing by the shop counter and had an urge to buy something. Why not? He thought. There is nothing else to do.
As Era began to walk towards him, his heart pounding, felt more gentle, and suddenly returned to normal. His body still felt warm, but it did not concern him much.
*Sigh* 'I knew if i wait it out i'll be fine... he said, but something told him he was wrong.
When he arrived next to the player. his heart began pounding again. At an ever faster and harder rate than before.
"Hi." he said. "Do you have- ugh!" Era's body suddenly dropped.
damnitt!...damnitt!!

Age: 10
Gender: Female
Class: Harvest
Level: 21
Appearance: Uraki has one, left golden eye and one right, red eye. Her hair is slightly short and is gold as well. She has a large, white hat with golden markings on it and a tassle hanging off on the right side. She has a sleeveless dress that's coloured red and gold with a black-lace like top. She has gold and red sleeves with gold rings at where they start. She wears white gloves and white shoes.

"Three months already, huh...?" Uraki said to herself as she sat in front of her computer monitor and stared at the icon for 'The World'R:2 on her Desktop. She glanced at the FMD and controller on her desk not too far from her, then back at her monitor. "Well, I guess everything's been running smoothly...I guess...it wouldn't hurt to try again," she mumbled and picked up the FMD and controller.

Uraki found herself, once again, in her fammiliar Harvest's character body. She looked around at the sutnningly stable town of Mac Anu. Memoried came back to her, making her feel bad. She exited the Chaos Gate building, hastily. Not noticing anyone or anything in her way, she bumped into multiple people, along with many walls and boxes.
Players around her chuckled as they watched the clumsy Harvest go past them in a messed heap. Finally, after a good bumping into things, Uraki sat down on the canal of Mac Anu and watched the water running along. She stared, absentmindedly at the rushing liquid.
Ura...
Uraki suddenly jolted upright and looked around her. Players stared at her strangely, and she slinked back into her previous position. I guess I was hearing things...there's no way she could still...
No way she could still what? A voice replied to Uraki's thoughts in her own mind and she blinked, then smiled slightly.
You're still here then, Hikaru. I was worried about you when I wasn't here!
A slight chuckle made Uraki smile even wider.
Hey, I have my own methods of staying around in this place. Still, it really was quite a mess. I'm surprised you came back.
Oh, believe me...
"I am too..." Uraki whispered and stood up, then continued back to the building of the Chaos Gate.
Uraki stopped in front of the swirling Gate and stared at the blue spheres of light within it. She wanted to go to an area...but at the same time, she wasn't sure she truly wanted to. She hesitated, then turned around and walked back down the stairs and headed towards the heart of Mac Anu.

Nephilim shook her head. I don't think Uraki would have quit. Not as things are." Nephilim looked around the fountain at the vast collection of players in Mac Anu. "No, I think that she's having the same problem that I did for a while. Her parents refuse to let her on out of fear she's go comatose again. Give her some time and she'll probably log in soon."
No sooner then She said it, a message popped up.
"Speak of the devil..." Nephilim turned to look for the harvester, but couldn't see her yet though she watched someone bump their way to the canal. "It seems she Just logged in."

Rin wandered through Mac Anu, lost in thought. She wasn't looking where she was going, which lead to her bumping into something solid as she approached the spinning Chaos Gate.
The tiny Multi-Weapon fell back and landed on the ground. She made a small, miserable noise. Now she was knocking into things too. What a day.
Rin looked up, re-arranging her her Witch hat, which had slipped and covered half her face. Her mismatched eyes met the mismatched eyes of another player.
"Uh-uh... Um..." Rin stammered, looking away from the Uraki, "I-I'm sorry! I'm really sorry I b-bumped into you!" She said shyly, getting slowly to her feet.

I..don't like this place..
Power, that was what I wanted..isn't it? To be strong enough to protect her..isn't that what I wanted!? Didn't I..want to protect her..?
No..
No, I didn't want power to protect her..I wanted power..because I was so weak. Because I couldn't do anything but watch..I couldn't do anything to help them..I could only watch them move forward while I was burried behind, within this pain and darkness..wrapped within my own self hatred..
You're like us..
Like you? Did..you lose everything too? Are you looking for your emotions as well?..for that power..strength..determination?
I don't know what I'm looking for but..I'm searching
Searching...Then..lend me your power, I'll help you..
You've always been helping us watch..but you'l help us do things also? You know it might cost you..
I'm deprived of everything already..just as long as I don't return to that World..that world..I never want to return there..the place where I was always unable to do anything..
This Darkness within your mind..it's too strong..know that it will swallow you
I wouldn't mind at all..'she' has left me..they've all moved forward..left me..while this whole time..I simply wanted to call out to them..wanted them to wait for me..I wanted to tell them..
I'm..
================================================
" Oi who the hell are you!? " The cathedral again, except this time it was the inside again. And he was staring up at the altar, a voice was shouting from behind him.
He turned aroud, looking down at a partisan holding out a spear while he had asked him. " I'm.. " He looked down at his hands, what was he..he couldn't remember anymore.
He was wearing gloves, black ones and he seemed to have almost have a coat over himself even a cape. What the hell had happened to him..his PC Data..had it changed so much..
The partisan took a step closer, his head had looked up at him suddenly. " Get away! " He shouted, raising his hands out as a flash happened and the Partisan's eyes suddenly went blank, and he had dropped to the ground..not moving at all.
" W-what..? " He looked down at his hands, what had he just done..these powers..they weren't ordinary. No, they were the same powers as that..thing..
That horrible scream..
He started to laugh, placing one hand over his fac-No, a helmet had covered even that, he couldn't tell what his face looked like even. He lost everything now, even his identity.
" I'm..Nothing..An anti-existence of a being..Zero. " He whispered.
I'm..
================================================

"A-a-a-a-ano...uh, s-s-sorry...I wasn't...looking where I was uh...going..." Uraki said in a quiet voice and stood up slowly with the other Player. She looked at the ground and peeked at the other girl from the corners of her different coloured eyes. The other girl seemed to have the appearance of a western witch.
"U-um..." Uraki said in a quiet voice and stuttered something, then she trailed off and stared at the ground.
Eep...

Delta Server: Eternal City Mac Anu
Xiruk was wondering through the town oblivious to the events happening around him. He was trying to decide if he should really start the guild he’d been dreaming of. It seemed like a sound idea…but then of coarse a lot of things could go wrong.
“Why is it so hard to come to decision,” Xiruk whined as he walked through the streets of Mac Anu. The town was as lively as ever. People where chatting about current events, the NPC’s being their boring NPC selves, the guild clerks looking utterly bored, hoping for their shifts to be over and the occasional plan of a PK or a PKK being made.
Xiruk had walked all the way to the dome, a few people chatted in here, the occasional warp in or warp out was here as well. Xiruk had chosen to go to one of his favorite areas in the world to think over the matter. Xiruk walked up to the gate and a slew of menu’s popped up on his screen. After selecting the correct menus the warp began and Xiruk disappeared from Mac Anu.
Delta Server: Hulle Granz Cathedral
Xiruk appeared on a bridge that was attached to a cathedral, probably the reason why it has cathedral in its name Xiruk thought. The entire area seemed to be floating in space…a lone island amongst the mist that surrounded the area, giving no view of whatever lay below. Xiruk began walking to the entrance. He loved just sitting in that cathedral, thinking. It was such a beautiful work of art. He would probably spend an hour or two just staying here.
Well that was until he heard a very unpleasant scream pierce through his earpiece right before he had opened the two large doors. Now even if Xiruk had a hard time making decisions he did have his moments and without a though of nay or yay he ran back to the chaos gate and warped back to Delta Server: Eternal City Mac Anu
Delta Server: Eternal City Mac Anu
“Well that was a complete waste of my time.” Xiruk said with a sigh as he scrolled through all Chaos Gates menus. “Stupid PKers, I mean really, can’t they just go PK someone in normal fields but no they have to go and PK in the few custom area’s and it was the Cathedral no less,” Xiruk mumbled to himself as he finished inputted all the data and warping to his new destination.
Delta Server: Arche Koein Falls
Xiruk appeared on a small island, not big enough to hold more than fifteen people. All around this small area were waterfalls pouring endless torrents of water down below to some unknown place. Xiruk seemed to be the only one on this island and that suited him just fine. Xiruk began talking to himself.
“Now if I was to start a guild what would I call it,” Xiruk mused as he gazed at the many waterfalls that hypnotized his gaze even if his mind was thinking of other matters.

"I guess she did make it afterall." Glace said. "Should we follow her, or do you think she's off to do something important?" Glace asked Nephilim.
"I dont know about you guys, but I actually have something I was suppose to do. I was invited to participate in an arena battle and just stopped by here. Do you want to come? We might meet the others there anyway."

Chaos had also just stopped by to check on those invited by Shadow to join the guild. Since it didn't seem like they were wanting to join, he just smiled and turned towards the gate. "I'm going to go ahead and go to a field to re-aquaint myself with the controls of the game. It's been a while since I've played. If your interested in joining me, meet me at the lost ground "Delta Hidden Forbidden Waterfall." I'm going there to collect my thoughts and to quietly re-read the controls section of the manual there, out of the way of the populous." He says as he leaves the group to go to the chaos gate.

Chaos gates in and looks around at the area, reminding himself of the quality of the graphics in these areas, before walking to the end of the platform to take a seat and relaxing, listening to the sound of the waterfalls around him. Chaos, in real life, pulls out the games manual and reads the controls to himself, as well as his old notes about some of his more powerful skills and arts combos.

Horrible. That was the best word a regular Twin Sword could say about the sight before him. His two comrades, a Blade and Steam Gunner, were both dead on the ground, their bodies covered in black material. The whole field was once a beautiful temple but now it was covered in black blobs, blood stains, and body parts that could belong to anyone. The Twin Sword lucky to have been alive was coated in blood and frozen in fear, his eyes locked at the killer of his comrades; Myraaddel.
In his hands was a corrupted, demonic version of a Zweihänder. The dark knight just stood there, obviously enjoying watching his prey tremble. Myraaddel took a huge breath through his nose, exhaling in the form of a sigh, leaning his head back to stare up towards the sky. Even the endless blue above was corrupted with AIDA, the graphics laging and flickering from the unknown virus source. The small lighting allowed to the Twin Sword to get a small glimpse of the lower half to Myraaddel's face. The Brandish was licking his lips, as if enjoying a meal. "Delicious," he spoke in a hallow voice. "I love the fresh smell of death. It makes my mouth water, makes me crave for more!"
The Twin Sword had slowly reached his weapons while his attacker was distracted. "But. . . there is one Harvester. . . . whose blood I thirst for the most. The only person who has ever defeated me! The holder to the second bracelet!"
The player held his daggers, slowly approaching the Brandish.
"I will cut her open! The raw odor of her death will be like roses to me!"
The player was nearly there.
"I shall drink every amount of blood in her veins!"
Closer. . .
"Ukari. . . I WILL EAT YOUR VERY SOUL!!!"
Myraaddel's Zweihänder came up and stabs the player in the shoulder. Blood flows down the large sword's handle guard. The Twin Sword curses under his breath, giving the dark knight the coldest stare anywhere. But those eyes where now clouded in fear when he spotted black dots reaching for him.
The player tried to escape, but saw it to be useless. The Zweihänder was too heavy for his class to move. He kicked and cried out for help, but the small AIDA enters through the wound. Myraaddel removes his weapon from the now infected player, pretty soon he would awaken into an AIDA-PC. Just like his comrades before him.
An "A" note ringed inside the dark knight's head. Looking over his shoulder as if someone was there, those red eyes glowed once again. "Well I'll be. . . . Ukari has returned. Good, now I can enjoy watching her squirm at the end of my blade!!"
The dark knight vanished the same way as before, sinking within the pool of AIDA dots. Leaving the field for anyone to find it.

Do you like it?
Zero had turned his figure to the side, a echo had gone through the cathedral and that voice was all to familiar. " This is the power you spoke of? " He said, giving up in the search of whoever spoke.
Are you gonna search now for yourself?
" No, I'll find yours first.. " He saw logic in that, if he wanted to stay longer in this world..it would have been better not to get involved with anybody else at the time...he didn't want to go back to that world anymore..
Then search..
" For what?..where? "
We've been trying to figure that out too..
" What!? You've been looking..for something you don't even know?! "
He didn't get a answer this time, and he doubted that he would anyway. Turning around fully he started to take steps out from the cathedral. Once on the bridge his head suddenly hurt..memories from the last time rushing past him..
That horrible scream of pain..the sounds of shouts and spells..attacks...
" No no no..I don't want this.. " He whispered, swinging his arm as if something was there. Soon enough he felt the darkness covering him again..once it let him go he found himself in a completely other area..a dungeon..in front of the God of Law..
" I can move without the need of a chaos gate..? " He whispered, this would be more useful..
He heard footsteps, turning around as he saw a party of people coming within.
" What..somebody's already here? " Said the brandish, pointing his sword at him. " Oi..give us the item.. "
Pk'ers..he had worser memories of them..
" Tell me..how should those that are allowed to kill be killed? " He asked, opening his cloak as he held a hand out.
" eh? What are you..a ideologist? " The brandish asked as his friends laughed.
" Zero orders those you Pk'ers to..die. " He snapped his fingers, the black liquid suddenly going out from his cloak and onto them.
They started to laugh, all 3 of them. " Yes My King! " They shouted in unison, suddenly their characters had disappeared. They had deleted themselves.
Another power it seems, it proved more useful than expected..the power to control people..
" How intriguing.. " He whispered, disappearing again in a blurry of black liquid.

Xiruk had just limited the names of the guild too about ten when some Blade Brandisher warped into Arche Koein Falls. Xiruk paid him no mind since well he was leaving Xiruk alone and decided to be just as polite and ignore him has well and switched over to Private chat. He was a little glad though that someone other than himself played The World for more than just mindless monster bashing and hours of leveling up.
Finally after almost a whole hour of thought Xiruk came up with the name that he was able to deal with. The name was Zeit Union and he loved the ring to it. He loved the feel that it had. Zeit Union, Zeit Union, Zeit Union, ZEIT UNION. Xiruk could scream that name to the heavens because of how he much he enjoyed hearing it said.
Xiruk was now in the mood to go to a dungeon. He ran too the chaos gate and warped back to Mac Anu, then quickly entered a few keywords and went off to adventure.
