Crackpot Theory About Keyaki

I think that Keyaki (Zelkova in the American eversion) is or was Helba's assistant. Or, at least, has some connection with the hacker. I mean, he has maxed-out stats, wierd horn things on his character model, and knows more than most people do. Helba could have told him something about the Twilight Incident, but she wouldn't have told him everything which is why he doesn't know everything. Besides, the wikia claimed that Helba had an assistant (Bith the Black). What do you guys think?

It's a possibility that he has a connection, and some even say that he is Helba, but that's doubtful. It's interesting to think about...

Zelkova doesn't act like Bith the Black at all (even IF the player behind Zelkova is just acting, I can't see Bith acting like him). I guess it's possible that he was another assistant of hers though. I just can't remember if she had any assistants other than Bith.

its true the kid knows to much...but it cant be him cuz hes only tens years old...unless hes a super baby and at the eage of three was somehow apart of the crisis that went on,then it might make sense...

Where is it confirmed that he's 10? I don't even think the fanbook says his age.

Where does it say that Zelkova's ten? From his insight, I thought he was much older than that.

That makes me wonder. If he has a relation to Helba, maybe he's the cause of the flying Net Slum that saves Haseo.

That would make my day. And didn't somebody mention that on the OST for volume three, Zelkova's theme is called "Nobody Knows"? Which makes me think of a big secret, which makes me think Zelkova HAS a big secret... That could be it.

Then again, Sakaki is pretty damned smart for his age, but there ARE things that give away Sakaki's age, such as how he can't differentiate between right and wrong in terms of achieving what he THINKS is right.

I agree. Zelkova is too mature to be just 10 in my opinion, Sakaki was childish.

Yeah, it's true, but a girl can play a guy, and a guy can play a girl. Such cases are  Tsukasa, Gord, Asta, and Saburou. So while Helba's first character was a girl, there's nothing to prevent her from coming back as a guy.

So you can't rule out Zelkova being Helba just on that basis. Although, it IS unlikely that Zelkova is Helba. Not because of the gender, but because of the way they act on their motives and all.

Neither Zelkova nor Bith really reminds me of Reki... Reki is one of those guys who's put through a lot, and complains about it, but always follows through loyally. He's got that frantic + modest thing going on. (In the manga anyway.) Zelkova is a really mild kind of guy. Bith, on the other hand, is a little loopy. You think he's dark and mysterious at first, but he's got weird habits, such as his fixation with eating... If anything, I would say that because of the way he talks, Bith is more like Saburou than Zelkova or Reki, and even THAT isn't a 100% thing.

In the trailer he says, "The crisis in The World, has not disappeared, yet."

He is either referring to the AIDA not being defeated, or the problems in The World from the Twilight Incident.

He could've said that after the 3rd Network Crisis (the one in Vol. 3) appeared, then Haseo & co. did something, but the crisis was still on.
For example, after the crisis appeared, Haseo maybe fought Cubia or a very strong AIDA, but the crisis in The World (maybe odd glitches or something...like in Outbreak) was still up and growing.
