mega tokyo in my opinion is the worst comic ever, it's not a manga or an anime. you'll notice if you see the book in stores

It's not an american comic. It's a doujinshi. Very different the manga or comic.

southprk256, seriously dude, come on!

Alright you guys, considering there is some problems with opinion here, I'll tell you whats going on considering I was there when the FIRST comic came out back in the day (I haven't read in awhile, but i was back when it was still good).

Megatokyo is a web-comic, like many others out there, that are written for fun and updated on a semi-normal basis. Megatokyo is a comic about NOTHING, but its still humerous in the way it goes around being nothing. As far as content goes, I think that this is an EXCELLENT web comic, dispite the fact there are a few more out there that may be better than. But yeah, I like it, and southprk256... can we be a little nicer next time?

I personally enjoy MegaTokyo, as E1N said it is an excellent web comic and according to recent sales it is also doing quite well in stores. Last time I checked it was in the top three, beat only by Fruits Basket and Rurouni Kenshin. Now as for America trying to cancel anime, I somehow fail to see that. Toonami is still doing a fairly decent job showing anime, Adult Swim has been building its anime collection {there will be at least two new anime series coming this summer) and it even (recently) re-worked its Saturday line-up and the only non-anime show in the line-up is Futurama, and Anime Unleashed on G4TechTV is still going strong. All this seems to indicate that anime is still going strong and judging from the influence that MegaTokyo is exerting, anime and manga seems to be becoming even more popular.

There are three volumes so far, and the third one just came out not too long ago. If you want you could check all this stuff out for yourself by visiting their site, which is ---> http://www.megatokyo.com They even have a neat online store that you can visit and check out all the MegaTokyo paraphernalia.

i've been reading megatokyo for a while, and found it to be very enjoyable. so for my favorite scene was the one with the coffee pot to the head.
