Could it be Skeith's "skill" to be able to develop faster than other Avatars?

No, I highly doubt it, or Skeith would have a severe disadvantage in battle regardless.

Certain leaked information from Volume 3 seems to imply that Skeith's special power is something to the effect of being able to kill an Avatar or PC permanently or something.

I see, so could it be how Haseo will cleanse Ovan or just remove the PC from The World? It could be that the AIDA infection has reached a state where it can no longer be detatched from the PC and the PC needs to be permanently destroyed.

well wouldnt other pc that are also infected "hurt" the person who created the character once they are deleted?

If Skeith is able to do something like the TSN but in higher means (deleting a certain data no matter what), then it does makes sense that he was 'chosen' by Ovan to get rid of his AIDA.

And just something that came to my mind...but i remember Skeith was the only phase in The World R:1 that actually attacked other players in different circunstances, and he was the phase that left in coma most people.

So the ability to permanently kill PCs, Avatars, AIDA seems to really fitting to the Terror of Death title.

Well, I'm just saying that Ovan was Data Drained and still possesses an AIDA, and wants Haseo, and Haseo alone, to grow stronger. To me that seems to imply that only Haseo can permanently kill something.

ok... so.. her name is Aina??? or?? and i think skeith in the 1st vols was the only one to kill ppls cuz its job was to collect human emotions on death, so yeah....idk dont hurt me!!!

Well, that was actually inaccurate information. The Phases were made to suppress Aura's development, not help it.

ive heard that the phases were originaly designed to help building aura. the combination of the 8 phases gathered data would result in ultimate AI

anyways, i saw the pic posted previously, and i saw something that bothered me...
it seems Haseo gets infected by an AIDA... apparently thx to Ovan or Sakaki

also theres a picture of a sword, and haseo seems to be attacking it the another pic

oh, and i just noticed... Ovan semmes to have a horrified expression, while Sakaki seems to have been infected by Ovan's AIDA

arrgh, this is getting crazy!

I think that is just for gameplay purposes, and makes sense since other Avatars don't protect break you in order to Data Drain, which was the case with Corbenik and the other Phases in the first games, according to "Ask Piroshi".

He does, but we don't know who the culprit is.

Sakaki is infected with the same AIDA he had in volume 2. It just mutated.

morganna's original purpose wasn't to gather data from players in the world to use in the creation/completion of the ultimate AI Aura? 0_o

That was supposedly Morganna's job, which explains Tsukasa's case. But the Phases weren't created to do that.

Yea, Aura collected data by the players interacting with each other and the game.

My thought for Aida/Aina it has something to do with Morganna. She -was- the underlying cause of Twilight. Same tactics = Same cause?

This time she's using Kite, Orca, and Balmung data instead of the phases because she no longer can control the phases.

But is it true? I don't believe so cause Aina is not AIDA, right?
