Assuming that the picture of Bordeaux is correct, it simply looks as if the infection wasn't removed.Kuukai wrote:And I don't think it's impossible to be infected twice... Like, what's up with Bordeaux in 3?
Whereas this Eina has a black gothic lolita dress.Bulletcatcher wrote:Most people think that's Zefie. Saffron hair, white dress, bare feet.

But umm... Haseo pwned the AIDA that was inside her... I think she gets another one or something... Sakaki actually still has his, they weren't very thorough about making sure falling off the virtual cliff killed him...
I don't remember him talking about the dress, just that she was against the sun, but he did say "bare feet" and Eina gots boots.

I recall seeing a picture of a blob of light... (EDIT) Er, if you mean Bordeaux, how does that rule out her having gotten infected again? The entire reason I even brought her up as an example of someone who might have been infected twice was because of that very picture in the trailer where she is an AIDA PC...
I'm not really arguing that it isn't Zefie, I'm just trying to establish without loose ends that it isn't the chair girl.

Building off of that, the poll in the most recent issue of [The World] Magazine seems to have confirmed the "Eina" Ovan refers to in the Vol 3 preview as being spelled "AINA". As Kuukai's said, the only probable meaning I can think of is Artificially Intelligent Network Anomaly. Maybe AIDA's work has begun to bear fruit, and this is its form? Or could AINA have existed all along, and caused AIDA instead of vice-versa?

Oh, I see. I'll go fish up the link to the thread soon. It was a Poll asking readers what they thought the last boss of the series would be, and AINA was one of the options.
Edit: Here's the link to the thread.

Just because it's all capitals doesn't mean it's an acronym for something. "AURA", "EMMA", and "OVAN" are also in all capitals. As for why it's spelled "Aina", someone brought up enough evidence to support that that was probably the proper spelling anyway. We only heard the name by ear anyway.

Actually, he didn't quit. He said that he would watch over Haseo because it's fun, and even tells Haseo that he will be there to help when Haseo gets lonely.Kouen wrote:Saburo? Saburo had greenish teal hair and he quit The World after parting off in good terms with Haseo.mr.classybear wrote:k i believe its not Sakubo. But it kinda looks like the girl who helped out Pi in Roots, but its proboyl not her.

Or watching Haseo from "a distance". Saburou will hopefully become a party member in Vol. 3 along with the rest of the //Roots cast.Kouen wrote:Oh.. really? Sorry I stopped watching Roots after the Haseo's awesome animation <_<. But Aina existed before Haseo, which is when Saburo was still part of TaN's black ops unit. I'm beginning to think that Saburo is hidden somewhere in Haseo's party members.
Episode 23 had the best animation ever... It's like Haseo levitated and turned with the camera...
As they've released a set of ten characters saying they're all the allies in Volume 3, it doesn't look like Saburo will join Haseo's party.
However, I could see her appearing during Volume 3, at least to talk to Haseo, out of the characters in Roots that have yet to make a confirmed appearance in GU, Saburo is the most likely to appear, Tohta being the only other one I could see reappearing.
