An endless dreamless sleep is possible, of course, there's no physical way to know for sure what happens after death, but there's the religion thing. My personal beliefs extend into the Heaven and Hell regions.

A point to life? To give our individual souls a chance to experience a physical, Earthly life, make decisions, and from the point of birth/consciousness, we control what we're gonna do for the rest of eternity.

Technically reincarnation is true and every single person on the planet or creature of that matter is a prime example. A child is made of both his dad and mom. Which is just as good as saying "living again". Basically you are parents in another form. Its why when you act or do something a particular way "Thats something your mom would do" or "you walk just like your dad".

Because you are them in another form and yourself. And then it goes on, and on, and on with you experiencing what they did.

Ironically people want to be immortal but they already are if they reproduce and stop bsing with all this nonsense going on in the world.
:? Sorry, but I'd like to think that what I do is a result of what I choose to do, not a result of what my ancestors would have chosen to do. Besides, my material is probably from what ever the chickens, cows, pigs, apples, onions, and other various lifeforms that my mother ate durring her pregnancy. Come to think of it, those cells would have died long ago, so aside from the ones that got recycled, not much of that matter is part of me either. I'm also sure that my experiences are very much so different from my parents and their parents. My mother lived in New York, while my father lived in a small town in Illinios. I live in a colledge town in Colorado. Not a whole lot similar with the setting. My mother had two sisters, and my father had two sisters and a brother. I, conversly, have one brother, who, I might add, doesn't seem much like any of my aunts, uncles, or grandparents. My mother grew up in a loose Jewish household; my father grew up in a Christian family that went to midnight mass on their Lord's birthday; I light candles in a menorah, get Christmas presents, and go to New York for passover. Very little is the same now, and things will only get less alike as I grow older.

And isnt what you do a result what youve done? Last time I checked if I baked a loaf of bread, my mom didnt do it lol.

Your still your own self with some characteristics from your bloodline. Thats all lol.

Theyre just traits guys its no big deal like its meant out to be. And yes you are still your own person (because last time I checked no two people are the same. Twins arent either).

Sorry, my bad. I tend to take things way to the extreme. I just don't think everyone inherits personality traits from their parents so much.

No, there really isn't. We live, we die. We can do whatever we want when we live. When we die, we either rot in the ground or reincarnate...or go to Heaven or Hell. All too confusing.

Becareful about taking anything to the extreme. Someone with a wrong intention sees that and will use it against you...
