I think mine was when Tsukasa first died...that really got me because i didn't know any better and i thought that was the end of it, but it keep going on...then the kitty then happend that that almost got me too. But i don't remember much of that episode because i fell asleep and woke up to that so i don't know what was going on.

the grunty death definitly
i just read to much into it, i mean for eveyone else its a game for for our poor lost wave master he could feel the world and then to experience death despite his efforts...
he wanted to get away from that
and is the person on life support really a girl i though our Tsu was a guy in the real world and the femal Bear references was Aura (the cc corp ceo daughter) and Tsu was just another poor comotose victim of the World

Heh that's my choice as well.I guess that a lot of you agree with meTsuki of the Silver Moon wrote:The scenes I thought were the saddest was in one of the episodes when the father of the person playing as Tsukasa wanted to shut off the life support system. That was so sad because my sister and I were like, "That's sad! Why wouldn't you want your own daughter to live?" Obviously, that's why Tsukasa is so sad. All the other memories he has in real life are sad too, but i thought this one was horrible.

i must concur, the Maha scene was verysad, i saw it coming from when tsukasa gave him the leaf, but it still made me shed quite a few tears.
sora's DD was also sad, but it came down to his own arrogance, having to mock morgana, but 4th grade, thats lik 8-10 YO isnt it??? it still saddened me to watch asi think he saw that he should be friends with people, andwas probably gonna change his ways.

yea the part where Subaru got attacked by another look-alike of her is pretty sad, and she finds Tsukasa at the end of the episode...kiran wrote:The scene where subaru is beat up and goes to tsukasa and falls into his arms was really emotional. Also when the grunty died.
I didnt see the one where the grunty died tho

I agree with Helb. whole heartedly. .hack//sign is much sadder then .hack//LOTB is. There is much more sad scenes that happened in .hack//sign, especially all the flashbacks that Tsukasa has. Even in the game, poor Tsukasa doesn't catch much of a break. Some bad things happened to the other characters, like Bear when he talks about his failure as a father and BT with all the relationship problems that she had and Subaru with her having Cerebral Palsy and unable to live a normal life and what happened to her in "The World". But despite all this .hack//sign helps to show that even if life has dealt you a hard life and if nothing seems to be going right, there is always hope for you. There will be friends that will be willing to do anything for you and will always want to help you out. No matter how bad things get, light is always around the corner. That is the essential message, that I believe, that .hack//sign tries to teach.
