Suggestion: Forum whipe

Wouldn't a forum whipe be kinda nice?
think:

- everything clean and fresh.
- post all "official" knoweledge about the games. (that way, you won't have to deal with closing unlimited topics being created every day, most of them bearing same subjects)
- newbie friendly
- easy on the eyes
- all forum space restored

and last:
- God will look kindly upon thee!


This is my opinion, though. ...and a little poll to make things intresting.
feel free to lock it if neccesary.

By the way... is it me or are the forums slowing down?
I mean, it takes a short while to load up a page once you've posted something. could be my connection though.

uhh as you stated in ur poll i dont think its very nessesary and besides...all the forums that are still ongoing would be lost and thats not any fun...and our post counts will most likely go back to 0...we'll all be n00bs again XD

not neccesarily though. you can kill all topics but still keep post counts.

Well, people with CT's wouldn't be affected, but everyone else'd be screwed.

I think the GU board should be wiped of all stupid threads. However, I'd like to keep all the 'theory' threads in it from way-back-when, because those are still interesting.

some of the slow down may be caused by the goofy maple story thing up at the top of the screen. aside from that, i suggest simply to remove the locked threads, problem solved thank you and have a nice day *bows out of conversation*

The message board has been active since late 2003 and it won't be completely purged. Some forums get purged of old posts regularly.

This would be correct. Especially if you have a slower computer. There is literally a one second delay before the rest of the page loads for me and my cable connection, and said delay started when the ad above did, so...
