Dante is definitely the coolest. No one can beat his corny jokes. And the fact that he can make us all laugh with those stupid one-liners and stay as badass as he is, is proof that he is the coolest character.

Before anyone says anything, Nero is not Vergil. Vergil is Nelo Angelo. Nero is a whole new character who has some connection to Sparda and/or the Sparda twins (as far as I know).

My newest Game Informer has the producer saying Nero's looks are in no way plot related, or related to Sparda or his sons. So take that as you will.

Officially stated that Nero is not a Sparda son. However, does have some close connection to Sparda...besides the obvious thing of him being in the Cult.

Not this time. It has been officially announced that we're supposed to know who this chick is. Since DMC4 takes place before DMC2, it rules out Lucia. So, this girl should be Mary or Trish. Um, but because Trish and this new lady are blonde, it may be as simple as that to figure out who it is. However, in DMC4, the girl has a new name; Kylie or Kyrie.

Simply put...WE HAVE NO CLUE. He is a new character. We know the following: his name is Nero, he is a knight of a cult, he is connected to Sparda in some way, his arm is possessed by a demon. All we know.

Correct. 'Lady' is what Dante calls her, so it is half-official, but Mary is her real name. Arkham called her by Mary in one or two cutscenes, but up to that point in the game...she was referred to as Lady.

and also after the ending i think i recall her saying to someone who asks her name and she replies with "lady" obviously meaning that that is the new name she goes by.
