Ringing Sound.

still my head still hurts from hearing it

I shouldn't complain though, the original sound that was there really messed people up from what i heard.

i remember it being mentioned earlier on these boards that the sound from liminality really did cause trouble in japan so they changed it so that people in the states and stuff wouldn't be affected by it. the liminality and ingame sounds are very similar. i think you can find the information on the liminality board.

EDIT: ya its on the liminality section and its titled " 'A' Note Theory "

Ya, i watched the movie and it was like...i think tri-angle shape, and she hit it sending a...creepy sound that sounds like that noise in the background, i believe i also heard it with Innis also, i do not know about Magus tho, im only onto Outbreak >_>

come to think of it I never heard that ringing sound in the games either......and I think the sound was described as "A in C major scale"

yeah I heard a ringing sound it was really annoying I was looking around my room to see where it was coming from so I turned down my Tv to figure it out and the ringing went away so I was like ooooooow that where it coming from

I don't remember hearing it. The only time I ever heard a sound similar to this is in G.U. when Haseo first awakened his avatar, and I THINK I heard it in .hack//sign somewhere.

yeah and if you listen very closely you can hear a ringing sound in the Aeriel city Fort Ouph its last a while I thnk its constant check the other servers to to see if you hear it to I think it might have something to do with when Everything go all corrupted in the game after you beat .hack mutation but I m just guessing I dont know for sure.

You mean that "ping" sound that sounds like an... A flat I think... Or maybe I'm just delusional from my lack of sleep and are thus making up the ringing so I feel like I acutally accomplished something in the last two days?

That's actually correct. It is an A flat. As Kay wrote it's 'A' note theory.

It's especially prevalent during the fight with Corbenik. That's when it's the loudest and most perceptible.
