I thought Tarvos was as easy as any other Phase. It's really just a matter of bringing enough items that cure status ailments and continually pressing X. The only thing I died constantly from was the Parasite Dragon.

Yeah...that happenned to me on FFX...

I lost against Yunalesca after like, three hours of hard work. I got killed ^^;

Then I felt sick. I started crying o.o I dunno why though...

I turned off my PS2 and left it there until it was completely covered with dust...

dude

the dragon was so easy

i killed her on the first try

the only real pain in that game, is Sephiroth

but i tried to fight him as soon as i got platinum match, so i was like Lvl 40

but went back and owned him with the Ultima Weapon and a Lvl 89 Sora

plus i stocked up on Power Ups so his strenght was at about 93

so second time around he was a push over

but i guess if you arent prepared any boss can be hard

I would only feel that sort of pain when I haven't saved in a while. Which was the case. The Dragon in KH was so easy... Ursula the real ****. The only boss that's ever made me want to throw the controller at the screen was Adel from FFVIII. Being practically dragged into it at the start of a disc, trapped inside Lunatic with no way to exit to the map, I was unprepared and had nowhere to level up or buy items, all I had was random battles in Lunatic that were either too tough for me or didn't give me much. I ended up going the most desperate way. Seriously though, that's practically the only boss where if you save before it, you're screwed, wedged between a hard place with nowhere to go unless you got certain secret things already. Took me three days to figure out a desperate strategy on that whore.

Of course, Adel was easy-peasy the second time around.

Devoid of Heart wrote:I thought all of the bosses were pretty easy. But that's because I'm cheap, and over-leveled and over-stocked my characters.

Like, if you go to Theta>Chose>Hopeless>Nothingness, and just keep data draing EVERY MU Guardian, and exiting before you fight Skeith, you will have gain a good three levels, and several sets of Bom-Ba-Ye (spelling?) that you can use a pair, upgade a pair, and sell the rest. You will find that you get a ton of GP, very fast.

So fast, in fact, that you even have enough to spread the love to the other characters in your party, so they don't have to wear equipment with healing spells attached to it, and can wear equipment with godly attack power. If you rush to beat the Gott statue in Delta>Pagan>Sunny Demon (which is a very short dungeon), you can get the time equipment, and carry along any of it with you so that you can cast Ap Do, rather than using speed charms. So you can take all those lovely speed charms and give them to the rest of your party.

After over-leveling and over-stocking, you will find that the Phases become just too easy.
Espeicially if you're a pro (like me) at 'item gatling.' Rapidly open up the item menu and constantly throw healing and restoring items to your allies.
First off, you can't upgrade Bom-Ba-Ye, it's a rare item. You can, however, use it to get free Golden and Silver Axes.

I actually didn't overlevel. In fact, sans Skeith and Corbenik, all phases were a sinch. Well, I actually screwed up on Magus the first time cause I didn't get his gimmick with the leaves, but Magus was actually probably the most fun. It's actually a toss-up between Magus and Gorre. The rest of the phases to me were all the same.

Yunalesca has to be the gayest boss in rpg history. And ontop of her retardedly hard difficulty, there was a 10 minite-ish cutscene right before it! So very, very gay.

I got stuck on Halo a month ago. Just beat it.
how do you get stuck on halo? its a fps

thats a good question rly

how is it one gets stuck on a run around shoot em up type of game?

only thing i can come up with is lack of concentration skills (ADD) or slow reflexes which leads to the slaughtering of you from every direction

or you decided to be bold and try legendary on ur first go around

for me the hardest phase was Corbenik, or rather the phase that gave me the most trouble. well...actually skeith too, since it took me a few trys before finally beating him. i managed to beat the other phases with only one try. my only problem with corbenik was that i just thought he was annoying to fight but i cant remember why, its been a while since i last played quarintine >.>;

I think the reason is because Corbenik can't be Data Drained.

After any of the other phases get Data Drained, they become quite easy.
Corbenik isn't like that and his health decreases rather slowly.

right now i remember lol

well aside from that i didnt have any royal pain when fighting him, though my pt died a lot...i think... gah i need to play again >.<

well i wont say anything more about quarintine so ill stick with the fact that i know that skeith was the only one i died against a number of times, so he was more trouble some for me >.>
