The World R:3

“We know how popular this game is to the masses. We want to do what we can to fix all of the bugs, without changing too much of the game that the players have already come to love. CC Corp wants what is best for the players: A safe, fun environment in which to play “The World,” explained the new chairman, Kamine Mizuki, at a press conference after the “The World:R2”s closer.

It was by this time that the knowledge of AIDA had become present to the masses, as well as its effects to the game and the players within it. It was also becoming increasingly clear, that other viruses had also had their effect of the game and…somehow….the players. After its closer, The World was generating even more buzz and hype than ever before. And this time, everyone was watching.

Within the first creation of The World the game’s creator, Harald Hoerwick, created a black box file that existed throughout “The World’s” existence. Containing highly intelligent AI, they were responsible for many disasters and mysteries that existed within “The World”. But no one understood how AI of such magnitude could even exist within the net, and while they had been pursued many times, nothing much had been revealed.

At last, “The World: R3” was released to the public. This world was pretty much the same as R:2, with a few perks (as the CC Corp Chairman explained). “R:3 has been debugged to its fullest extent!” The Chairman explained at a press release. “We have made some minor changes however: The game’s back story has been moved along, so The World R:3 will take place further in the future than R:2. Also, as an extra apology to our valuable customers and players, We have recreated the Lambda server, allowing players an even higher tier of monsters and an even higher level cap than before. These are just some of the many new features we hope to bring you with our latest installment.”

When it opened, “The World R:3” sold its highest amount of copies to date. The reason however, wasn’t just because of the new features. No. Many players who joined were thrilled by the idea of a “dangerous” game. A game that could somehow affect you in real life if you died in the game had adrenaline junkies flocking to it like moths to a flame, despite the announcement that “The World” was bug free.


But inside The World…

That little black box remained untouched…

What lived within it still existed…

Forced into slumber…

Soon to awaken…

The silent war between the Three Dogmas waged for nearly another hundred years as each faction tried bringing about the God's Rebirth in their own ways. They amassed knowledge and skills, technology and power, and yet still no Gods had been reborn. For most part, The World seemed to be at peace, as each faction mostly chose to search on their own.

One day, however, a human from the Teutates Faction got into a fight with a beastman from the Ogmios Faction and killed him. Frightened by the events, the human pretended to be part of the human faction: Arvakv the Innovators. The Ogmios beasts, outraged by the assault, began quarreling with the Arvakv Humans who, while the insisted that they hadn't done anything, had no proof. Blinded by their quests and now angered by the turn of events, the humans and the beasts resumed fighting violently.

The Teutates, who had removed themselves from the situation stood back to watch the events unfold. It had been quite some time since the last war, and both faction's numbers had considerably grown compared to The Pursuers. However, that was soon about to change.

Panzo, a powerful leader in the Arvakv army, and Niku Miru the great grandaughter of the famous beast tribe leader Bipu Bapu were growing tired of the war. They felt it was a distraction to a goal that they all shared: The God's Rebirth. So with a group of eager Arvakv Humans, and Ogmios Beasts they broke away from the war and joined the Teutates. With two of the most powerful leaders removing themselves from the war, the Teutates assumed that the war would once again die out.

They were wrong.

Ren Kiraz, the Shadow Warlock leader of the Teutates, cast a charm on Panzo and Niku Miru, forcing them to become his servants and do his bidding. Under Ren Kiraz's spell, Panzo and Niku Miru commanded the now immensely large Teutates army to war.

The battles were incredibly one sided. The Teutates had been gathering technology and weapons from both sides for many years and their numbers now far exceeded the other two factions. They marched onto the battle field, and destroyed all that stood in their path.

With one battle, the Teutates ended a long lasting war. The Arvakv humans and Ogmios beasts had been horribly defeated and surrendered to protect their remaining forces. Under the Teutate's control the three factions began working as one towards the goal of the God's Rebirth.

Although racial hatred and ideological differences created tension and infighting on occasion, Ren Kiraz insisted on cooperation. Resistance to the Teutates was futile, and Panzo and Niku Miru remained under Ren Kiraz's control.

It is as close to peace as the world has been in over two hundred years. However, the no Gods have been reported to awaken. The Teutates appealed to Folset The God of Law, but the God refused to speak. He simply stood guard at Morrigu Barrow Wall. As still and silent as the Statue of Aura that once dwelled within Hule Granz Cathedral...

Starting today, we will be beginning a special event called "The Gods' Will Event". Players who participate in the event will be awarded with the opportunity to change their current character style into an Elf race style. There are no requirements to join the event as it is not a level based quest, and any players of any character race may participate.

bio: Sion is a loner and doesn't like to get to close to anyone this probablly has to due with the fact that his girlfriend died in the accident of the world R:2 due to the Aida incident Sion then quit the game and soon feel into his own despair of losing the girl he loved....Sion later Joined R:3 for his own reasons once a high level player of 130 known as Sion the godfist due to this Sion has made alot of enemies in the arena and outside the arena he allways played the game with his girlfriend until the incident with Aida took her away from him in the latest version now a lvl of 17 Sion constantly trains his character because of an email he received before the launch of R:3 stating " Sion the Godfist if you are reading this email then I'm afraid it's allready begun I'm afraid to say this but Sion you must enter the world....if not to help with this oncoming catastrophe for your own reasons signed Thanatos of pandora" attached to the email was a picture of Kaldea's character though something seemed strange to him atfirst Sion thought it was some sort of joke yet he looked at the time placed on the screenshot and it stated exactly the day before...Sion didn;t know what to believe he just wants to discover the truth

Bio: A remnant of a PK era, Zorlo has spent time recovering since he became a lost one. The time has come for his return, and no better time to create chaos then within the new World R:3. A new battle. A new chance at everything. This would be fun.

Addendum to Zorlo's Biography: Before he became a lost one, Zorlo was the leader of an arena team along with his right hand man, Valde; and his left hand man, Arvin. Together, the three formed a team notorious for their berserker style of combat. Despite this, they lacked the necessary skills to be a highly effective team against more complex, powerful, or ranged teams. Although their ranking was never very high, the three quickly developed skills and combinations of attacks that could easily deal with both monsters and foes on the field.

Bio: Zorlo's former left hand man and a skilled player at PVE (player vs monster). Once carrying the title of "The Sword of Justice", Arvin was a member of Zorlo and Valde's arena team. He returned to his PVE roots when the World R: 3 was released, but has recently been tracking word of a certain member killing off newer players. A man of few words, in game or over private messages, Arvin was contacted and incidentally met up with Valde. The two now wait for Zorlo's return to Mac Anu in order to see if it is truly the man they used to call their boss.

The sun set over the cascade of mountains as Draz and his opponent dueled in a valley. The Adept Rogue kept at a distance with his gun, chipping away at the Twin Blades health. They were both at equal level so it will only be a simple matter of whose the most skilled. The Twin Blade deflected a few of the shots only to dash a straight line directly towards the Adept Rogue and just as his blade was on the verge of striking Draz had managed to skill Trigger his enemy and switch his preferable dual daggers. Despite parrying the large blade the Rogue now had, the shock wave in itself sent him reeling backwards only being able to catch himself by performing an acrobatic roll.

They were feet away and the Adept Rogue raised his massive sword up above his head ready to crush Draz, and whilst Draz was on the fly the Adept once again switched to his gun immediately pointing it at his opponent. They both froze, in anticipation to the others next move.

"So it seems we're at an impasse", Draz had jested to his opponent, "Ha! Oh Rork, why do we always end a day like this?"

"So it seems, and in my defense it was you who challenged the honor of my mother"

"So I was, so I was. Hehe."

They both sheathed their weapons, and laughed for a good two minutes. After chatting awhile they did their farewells, and headed back to the chaos gate. Draz had materialized back in Mac Anu, where he continued to relax on the ledge of the bridge. Watching both the eternal sunset and the kinds of people passing through this server.

Angry looks and glared of player sorrounded her.
"Move out of the way!"
"Your blocking the gate!"
For a moment she looked blankly and confusedly at her controler not knowing what to do. This was her first time ever logging into the world. Not knowing what she was doing. She quickly moved the joystick and her character went running. Through the crowd of angry people and down on to the bridge.
"S...sorry!" She called out.

Draz fell to the ground as a Character ran into him, Data Lore displayed accross his screen as he focussed on his 'Attacker'

"Whatch out..." His voice was almost dragging as if he were tired

She quickly took her thumb off the joystick and her character quickly came to a halt.

"Sigh...No it's fine. Just...Are you new?"

This was Draz's fourth time restarting. He could never get his character just the way he wanted it, so he often restarted.

"Obviously..." She sighed a little.

"Ahh, I see. I'll probably regret this later but....Do you need any help?"

Draz sent her his Address even though he figured she wouldn't use it. The Will of D's reach had gotten quite large over the years, anyone giving out help was usually from their faction, and hardly at all a friend. Draz had an invite from them in his inbox still. He hadn't opened it, but he could tell from the title.

"Really? You want to help me?"
She sighed a little as someone walking by stared and gave her a funny look.

"I suppose the final answer is yours. But, what the hell, why not, i've got nothing else to do."

Draz turned and leaned against the bridge and stared off into the sparkling water. Three revisions, and nothing had changed about the bridge. It still had the sparkling water underneath, still had the occasional boat, still had the occasional fish. But this time.There was somethng new....

For a few moments she looked over the bridge and wondered what he was looking at.

He spun around quickly as a goblin materialized. Monsters sometimes broke into towns, on raids. Players would combat them and take the treasures. Something brought back from R:1.

"It's LeveL!" Draz couldn't move. How could there be such a strong monster in the starter town? it's only supposed to be a LVL 1-30 town. "RUN!"

Sion: { in mac anu theirs a bunch of downed players their was evidence of a brawl though the only 2 left standing are a Tribal grappler and a newbie blade brainder} dammit get out of my face...don't eever show your faces near me again...and make sure guys like that don't push you around { he walks off}

Sion { he leans on the side of the bridge as he looks out towards the distance as the image of him and a girl are playing together in the World he then sees himself resting his head on her lap in an empty field as he looks up towards the crystal blue sky as he snaps back to reality and he looks over towards data lore and Draz} oh sorry i didn't realize their was anyone else here....{he notices the goblin as he cracks his knuckles} Tch...im not in the mood
