Resident Evil: Infection (Open Spots, Join Whenever)

The year 2010, after Chris Redfield and Sheva Alomar stopped Uroborous from being realeased into the atmosphere. Everyone thought the threat of another major viral infection had been lowered. So the U.S. goverment thought to lower the alert status. Everyone soon forgot about, but some say there is a foreign diplomat visiting the U.S. carrying a very dangerous virus. That could possibly infect the whole country.

Biography: Sam was born to a middle-class family in urban America. He thought he would be nothing more than a photographer's son. He is visiting D.C. just for the sight-seeing. He was distant from his classmates, never making enemies but not making many friends either.

Bio: Considered an emo amongst his classmates, high school senior Nori Ameralis usually stays away from socializing, living alone in a small apartment just four miles from the White House. Girls adore him, yet one by one, he turns them away. He's quite cold and distant towards everyone around him, and chooses to remain silent when spoken to most of the time.

A bus slowly pulled up to the bus stop, Sam hopped off. He said to himself, "Now where do I go?" He pulled out a map, "So many sights, so little time." Sam sat down on a bench, thinking to himself. "I need to figure out what I'm going to do while I'm here for three days." Sam walked over to the Washington Monument, he pulled out his camera and started taking pictures. "Such a strange looking monument."

Biography: Gustav is an old German who has studied occult magic, and in particular, necromancy. He is believed to be able to keep those who have died at bay simply by holding his staff - which doubles as a walking stick - in his hands. Despite his old age, he is quite strong, and is said to have once knocked three men through a wall with one punch.

Seth is riding shotgun in the squad car they when arrive at the monument and stop "Wait, why are we pulling over? We didn't get a call did we?" "No i just gotta take a piss" (Resi 4 xD) the officer gets out of the car and runs into the bathroom Seth sits and watches the people taking pictures of the monument "looks like a giant square pencil to me..." someone walks past the car slowly with a slight limp "Hmm? bad leg i guess."

Sam saw the limping man walk, Sam walked up to him, "Here sir let me help you." The man screamed at him telling him to go away. "Jeez I just wanted to help." Sam put his camera away and looked around, "Now what to do?"

Nori began walking down the street. He kept his head down and his eyes closed as he shifted the volume on his ipod. Suddenly, there was a sharp noise. Nori looked back. "What the hell?...Seeing nothing, Nori continued walking. A couple of girls had appeared around the corner. Spotting Nori, one of them pointed him out as the rest screamed his name at the top of their lungs. Nori ignored them after giving a slight "Hmph". "God, girls are so annoying. Damn it..."

"What could be taking so long?" Seth gets out of the car and stretches "darn... can't believe how crowded it gets in there." Seth yawns and stretches once more "being an officer of the law sure is boring sometimes, no matter how well they pay me.

Biography: Came to America with his family at the age of 7. His parents were both working with the government as computer software programmers and through them (without their knowing) 289 picked up great skill at programming and hacking himself. At the age of 13 289’s parents were both shot and killed by what the police suspected was a burglar and 289 fled his home into the streets. He survived by hacking ATM’s and soon set up his own underground home, continuing hacking through many police computer systems trying to find his parent’s murderer. His ability to use each hand to accomplish separate tasks on keyboards and hit keys accurately without looking will come in handy with aiming and firing two guns at separate targets... if the day ever came that is

[OOC: Hey, sorry for double posting but I thought I should get my character started.]
Two Eighty Nine's lair was a large dark room; the only illumination came from the three monitors at his desk (the only furniture apart from Two’s chair in the room). Two Eighty Nine sighed and turned around in his chair. He’d been browsing criminal records for the past three hours. Two sighed. He stood up, ascended the stairs and exited through the large steal door into an alley. After locking the faded pale green door behind himself, Two Eighty Nine looked up. The sun was bright and the sky clear blue.
“Such a nice day… I feel like cheese.”
Two walked slowly to the street, hands in pockets. Across the street was a man struggling along the path. His face was strained, mouth and eyes wide.
He looks sick… but he’s wearing an expensive watch and a clean suit… why not go to a hospital? … Oh, right! … Cheese.
Simple minded Two Eighty Nine took a sharp turn left and headed towards a grocery store. A short walk away, Two Eighty Nine found himself getting simple meals from this store often. After Two bought himself a large packet of cheez-its and some cream cheese to dip it in, he saw the sick man from earlier across the street. He’d fallen over and a middle-aged woman was trying to help him up. Right before Two walked off the man bit the woman, hard.
“Huh… And here I thought he would be a sane, wealthy guy,” Two looked up into the sky again. Far off were approaching rain clouds.
“Looks like I won’t be able to get out again today. I guess I’ll go back in a bit. For now I think I’ll do some sightseeing. I’ll go check out my favorite monument,” Two Eighty Nine continued down the street eating his Cheez-its and cream cheese.

Sam said, "I know! The president is meeting up with a foreign diplomat! I geuss I'll go see what's up with that." Sam started walking towards the White House, then two goverment agents stopped him. "What do you think your doing? Come with us." Sam followed the two goverment agents off to who knows where?

Seth looks back at Sam "Whats that all about, they normally just tell them to go away." Seth follows Sam but another agent stepped in front of him "Sorry, can't let civillians pass beyond this point." Seth pulled out his police badge "I think have a right to know where they're taking him "Oh sorry to hold you up lke this." the agent steps to the side and Seth walks past him

Sam asked, "Where are we going?" One agent said, "Back to HQ." Sam asked, "Why are you taking me?" They replied, "We noticed you were taking interest in the White House, so we would like to question you." Sam said, "I was just wondring about his meeting with that foreign diplomat." The agent said, "Whatever, get in the car." Sam got in the car, and they drove off to a random building at the edge of D.C.

Sam said, "Where are we?" One agent anwsered, "A branch of the Secret Service, we watch over parts of D.C." Sam passed a room, "You guys have cameras, watching every monument?" The agents nodded, "Just to watch for terrorist activity." Sam thought, "Wow these guys are paranoid." Sam was brought to a room, where he was questioned.

Then an agent screamed out, "Sir, there have been synchronized explosions at the Jefferson And Lincoln Memorials, also at the top of the Washington Monument! The explosion is also releasing some red powder looking stuff into the air!" The supervisor said, "Go! I want every agent at the White House ASAP!" The agents rushed out of the building completely forgetting about Sam.

Sam noticed a pistol, he put it in his messenger bag, and picked up some boxes of ammo and walked out the door. He noticed the streets in panic, he ran towards thw Washington Monument. "What is going on here? Terrorist attacks in the heart of America?"

Seth stops next to Sam "****... i should have been there... just hope my partner can handle things..." Seth shakes his head "Terrorists are the last thing we need." Seth looks at the screens showing the scenes "how fast you think we can get there? Or if we can even get there?

After Two Eighty Nine had reached his favourite monument, he heard several large explosions.

"Uhh... Terrorists?"

He looked around. There weren't many people and the few that were in sight were either running or limping out of sight. Next to 289 was a police car with an open door and no police attending it. Two took another look around. Nobody in sight. He climbed into the car and found a Glock in the glovebox.

"Sweeet."

Immediately after Two got out of the car he was pushed over by someone. Two looked up. It was an officer.

"Woah, hold up," Two got up fast, "Hey, I'm sorry I just figured-" The officer leapt at Two trying to bite him but Two instictively shot the officer in the thigh. The man stopped his assualt for one second and then went to leap again so Two shot him in the other thigh, but, had the same result.

"Dude, there's something seriously wrong with you. Are they giving you cops steroids now or something?" Two tried shooting the cop in the chest, but, when that failed he shot him in the head and the police officer fell.

"What's going on here?"

Another explosion went off near the white house. Two took the officer's gun and holster and ran off towards the white house.

"working a double shift is bad for the body." Anzai said sheepishly as he changed into his regular clothing. Anzai lived in a small apartment near the police station, his room was empty and poorly taken care of, rays of light filtered in through the curtains as Anzai flipped on the small tv in the middle of the room. Their was a service announcement about terrorists attacking the white house. Anzai heard explosions close by, he decided to check what was going on. he went to his closet and pulled out a box, it was labeled S.T.A.R.S. what was inside was all that was left of the nightmare he went through. He went though the box and pulled out a Handgun along with a few extra clips. Anzai then rushed out the door to investigate the explosions.

Two Eighty Nine came across another "sick" man. The sick man tried to bite Two aswell and so he put a bullet through the mans head. The man fell to the ground lifeless.

"It seems... bullets to the head does the trick. Zombie?"

Two Eighty Nine went into an internet cafe a short distance from the man he'd shot.

"Let's see what we can find," Two opened up a private search engine connected to recent biological affairs in the U.S.

He searched through the archives to most recent. The last update was one day ago. It was an article containing this statement: "...some say there is a foreign diplomat visiting the U.S. carrying a very dangerous virus..."

"Huh... A virus that infects people and turns them into Zombies... I think I read about this before," Two continued looking through the files and came across a "Living dead in Racoon City".

"It says the same thing that's happening here happened in Racoon city... How did they fix the problem?" Two read through the article but it didn't state a solution to the infection.

"Well it doesn't say how to fix it... but it says it spreads through bites and scratches from the already infected... so... the solution is to eliminate the infected? Hmm... I don't really have any reason to help out... But I do not want the world to turn into Zombies... then it'll be harder for me to avoid infection. I guess I'd best help out," Two Eighty Nine stepped out of the cafe and continued to the White House.
