Dimitri sighed and turned to face the girl he'd been speaking with, “And for your services, upon my behalf, we the sages thank you.” His expression was neither warm nor cold. He was being honest with her, and at the same time, the thought that his brother was far away was settling in. Dimitri at once began to play his flute. Bianca descended carefully to the ground and Dimitri placed his flute in his sash. “I fear Soma is far away now, and out of our reach.” He faced Bianca, “Tell this message to my brothers and the knights. “Soma has escaped the castle grounds, where he goes, we can only imagine. I will pursue him by myself, and should I need to, I will slay our brother. I wish it does not have to come to that, and that we can capture him before he foolishly causes mayhem and destruction to our kingdom. Fare well in case I do not return. Dimitri, Sage of the East.” Fare thee well young knight, may we meet again.” And with that Dimitri played himself off into the sky and out of Bianca's sight.

Hale sighed, “Medical ward should still look you over, they're professionals.” Hale was finally out of the ruins and in the castle, which was more of a mystery to him than the ruins surprisingly. “And as for helping you? I'm helping you because I am a knight, or at least I soon will be, and as a knight, it is my duty to help everyone who fights for good, weak or strong, man or woman, royal blood or commoner.” Hale's voice rang with pride as he pronounced his reasoning for helping Ember. “So, will you let me take you to the medical ward now?”

"Luca." She consented, and closed her eyes with a content sigh as the metal slid and she held on a little tighter. "Our first commitment is to the destruction of Aesir in our world and to keeping them out. The second is to one another. There can be no others. Not to being good, not to serving a king, none." She felt people staring at them, she must have looked quite similar to a corpse with all of the blood. She didn't want any excess attention, so she kept her eyes closed and her voice just loud enough for Hale to hear. "I only say this because I don't want you to place your hopes upon my shoulders and then be crushed when I don't live up to your ideals."

When they arrived Ember dismounted and moved around like she wasn't hurt, almost convincingly. The first thing she did was dip her gauntlets into a water basin and the liquid rushed over and into her armor and when it came back the basin was dyed red and Ember was clean. Still she removed her armor, with some help from Hale, and lied upon a bed clad only in a white sleeveless shirt, shorts, and she refused to be parted from her cloak. If not for the odd patch of snow one might think her natural skin color was black and blue. "Hale, talk. I don't care about what." Ember asked while the healers worked. It felt weird and unnatural to let them use their magic on her and she needed a distraction or she was going to start making them into patients themselves and Hale seemed a good candidate to provide one.

Soma: ( soon soma heads out as he begins to walk to his destination the capital of baronia the very place where the King himself resides) if Im right I have to be careful otherwise there's no way is Dimitri and the others are gathering there but still that girl I didn't mean to get her dragged into all this if I don't hurry we're as good as done

Sage of the north: I see...well than where is Dimitri ?...he's allready headed for the ruins chances are he may have escaped its no matter I have an idea of what our brothers planning if he wishes to truly stop us I believe he's going to be foolish enough to come here himself ( he creates a telepathic link to Dimitri) brother its time to head back to the capital the kit wishes to speak with us as well as we need to discuss how we're going to deal with our troublesome little brother

Bianca watched Dimitri float off, looking at her surroundings only after he was out of sight. She was close to a large guard post near the capital. She could report back there and rest for the night. They would probably suggest she make her way to the capital to tell what she knew to her superiors, but she would cross that bridge when she got there. For now, she just needed to get to the post, so she started walking.

It took around an hour for Bianca to make it to the guard post. She reported the news to the Knights, who immediately began planning a trip to the capital for Bianca and one other knight for the following morning. She had expected as much, but was glad that they would at least allow her to rest for the night. She had a lot on her mind after today, and she needed a little time to herself to process it all.

Hale smiled and pulled up a seat, “Nervous about hospitals eh? Well then, I'll tell you a bit about pop.” Hale closed his eyes as he reminisced the tales his mother told him of his father. “Pop was a knight a long time ago, but we was like a real knight, not in training like I am.” He looked around, he was proud of his father, but he dreaded speaking of him. He always felt like he was in his father's shadow. “He was in the war you know. He was K-I-A. That means killed in action. I barely got to know him, I was like five when it happened. But mom always says he was like super brave and that he died to save us all. I wish I had him when I was growing up though...” Hale got quiet for a moment, and then looked at Ember, “What about your parents?”

Dimitri answered the link “I'll go to the castle in the civilian way, perhaps I may be able to find Soma and subdue him. Should I need you leave the link open and I'll call for you.” Dimitri landed outside of a village shop and entered, “Sir, I require civilian clothes, In exchange I offer you royal garments.” The shopkeeper offered Dimitri clothes free of charge, but Dimitri would no accept them as such.

Soma: ( walking the path as he approaches the dangerous part of the tra as he finds himself surrounded by beasts) allright fine I guess I'll have to move you out of my way by force! ( he unsheathed his blade as he rushes the creature) do t under estimate me cause my Magic is weak at the moment!!!

Something was coming closer, the Aesir that was being reached out to. The eyes of Kalia opened more, the dungeon itself starting to shake. The guards began to panic, feeling like they were going to be crushed by the blood lust still inside the demon god starting to wake up, even if it was a dormant stare. The men began running from their murderer, fleeing against orders.

Yuuno opened a small pouch and placed a herb on a soldier's wound. He pulled out a bandage and wrapped the arm slowly. "Does it hurt?"

"Not anymore, those grand mages do good work..."

After resting for awhile, Bianca and her escort began their trek toward the capital city. It would take them awhile, and they were bound to run into at least a few creatures on the way, but they needed to get her news to the knights in the capital. They would know the best thing to do in this situation,

As expected, not long after they began walking, Bianca spotted a large bear-like creature scenting them. They defeated it together fairly quickly, even without speaking to one another. Their technique was a fairly common practice fight style, but it got the job done quickly and efficiently. "How long of a walk from here are we looking at, sir?" Bianca asked after she cleaned and re-sheathed her sword. The other knight did the same before answering.

"Around an hour, maybe a little less if we don't run into anything else. Half of one if we hurry."

"Let's try to hurry if at all possible, then" she said, getting a nod in reply. The sooner they got to the capital, the better. Perhaps Bianca could even get some answers once they arrived.

It took a few healers but they had made considerable progress on Ember, fortunately she was the only patient there with serious injuries. Suddenly, something felt extremely off, as Kalia awoke, and despite Hale's distraction Ember grabbed the attending physician's wrist and twisted it with a subtly audible crack. "I am not nervous about hospitals. I do not like other people invading my body. Father and The Mothers are quite capable of repairing my body by themselves and there is no risk of them setting off false signals nor making things worse. I will finish recovering without your interference." She stated and finally released her grip. "Regarding my parents, they are the Rangers, they are Nok and Serah, and they are Keeper." Ember sat up and locked eyes with Hale. "A few Milran forced open the gate, helped to secure a beachhead for the Valhallans, and prevented us from keeping the gate locked down. Keeper and I went into seclusion. And the rest of my family did the only thing they could, they killed them until their bodies gave out and then they killed some more." Ember had spoken in a matter-of-fact tone and there was no sadness nor anger in her eyes but pride and it bled into her voice as she spoke next, "K.I.A., every last one."

Hale didn't stop her, nor speak until she was done, and once she had said “K.I.A” Hale stood up, to retrieve her armor for her. “You look brand new anyways, I'm sure you were done.” He smiled a smile to wipe away the tension from the room and cradled her armor and gauntlets in his arms as to not drop any. “But thanks for telling me that. I don't know how difficult it was for you to say.”

.Ohta's face twisted into a smile. He could feel the ground tremble in fear of Kalia. Undoubtedly she could slaughter thousands of humans, and Ohta would do greatly to be the assistant of the new ruler of the planet.

Dimitri trekked on after changing into commoners' clothing. He felt odd, but the clothes was much lighter, and more mobile. This was to be expected, as they also provided less armor for his vital areas. As soon as he left the capital, he was surrounded by beasts. These beasts, however, did not last very long, as Dimitri played an almost inaudible tune. However, as he played it the beasts contorted and doubled over in pain. Before the song was over, the beasts were dead, and their internal organs nothing more than a bloody mess.

"The words came easily enough. Or perhaps you thought that I suffered from emotional distress telling you. Your language is filled with needless... nuances." Ember pulled the armor on quickly with practiced motions. "I am not saddened by their passing, unlike you." Ember checked her gear one last time. "I need to be going now, but you have done me a kindness and so I shall do what I can to repay that. You miss your father, I cannot restore him to life, but Father Nok will tell you of him as you sleep tonight. Nok." Ember breathed the word out as she leaned in and pressed her lips to Hale's ear annointing it with a kiss. "Place a rock near your ear while you sleep Nok Highwind, Nok will direct your dreams." Ember pulled her mask up and headed for the nearest concentration of Aesir energy.

Hooded man: ( in a deep part of the forest examining a large stone tablet) wow there's no doubt about it this is left over from the ragnarok war to think its still standing dyer all of this is really surprising oh crap I'm getting distracted I have to make my way go the capital if in correct that's where the knights are its been awhile since I've seen old man Dufay and Bianca ( he walks off trough the woods as he makes his way to the clearing of the forest as he can see the capital in the distance) *streches* I've finally made it it's been 8 years I wonder if they'll recognize me ( he walks off towards the capital as he makes his way there he soon enters the capital} wow this place certaintly has gotten bigger since i left I wonder what else has changed hell i wonder if they'll even recognize me

short back story: as a child he was allways told by his mother a different version of the tale of the sages one which depicted somas innocence and the actual true tale so due to this Edgar doesnt believe in the current tale of the sages but keeps it to himself unless asked and as well Edgar was born not only a darkling but as well as an unblessed the darkling as considered the true followers of Aesir and is the one race considered to be born solely for the sake of making humans suffer and bow to the Aesir gods thus Edgar being born a darkling caused him to suffer from lots of exile and bullying and he was also frequently picked for being born a unblessed one who was born with out the ability to weild magic in away he has no affinity for magic in anyway and so Edgar grew up in the same town as Bianca dufay and has allways considered her one of his closest friends ever since the day she protected him from a group of kids that were picking on him and were beating on him for being weak it was then Edgar wanted to grow stronger and so the years following biancas father taught Edgar the art of the sword because Edgar wanted to return the favor by protecting bianca one day and so after completeing his training he left the capital for one to find his own path in life because the odds of the knights allowing a darkling to join their ranks was considered taboo back then so Edgar left on a journey to travel all across gaia so he could get stronger and discover new places and explore the world and now after 8 long years hes decided to return for a unknown reason

"We're finally here," Bianca said with a smile as the other knight and her topped the hill right at the capital's entrance.

"I must head back now, m'lady, unless there is something more you need from me?" he replied with a slight bow. Bianca shook her head and thanked him, wishing him a safe walk back, and he took his leave.

She was home for the first time in almost a year, and yet she couldn't stop until she delivered the message of Soma's awakening. She didn't even know if she should at this point, but couldn't help but feel she should just in case he did deceive her and begin a war again. Better safe than sorry. She began walking toward the Knight's building on autopilot, her mind still reeling with the events of the day taking center stage.

Edgar: { he pulls his hood more over his head almost as if hes cold hes not used to the countrys weather yet} lets see if I rerember correctly The knights outpost should be where bianca would be right I mean afterall I rerember the last letter I received was about her graduation ceremony from apprentice to full fledged knight so I guess I can start by going there { he heads towards the knights building as he makes it there a few minutes before bianca arrives as he walks up to a large imposing knight} umm hi is bianca dufay in or wait better yet her father should be here right? can i uhh see them uhh oh my god how big did this building get { he starts looking around at the size of the inside of the building}

Knight: hmm?

Edgar: is there a problem I just want to know if their in oh thats right I suppose her father is either retired or atleast high up on the chain....so is bianca here

Knight: Bianca dufay hasent been back for a year now

The outpost stretched before her and though it had only been a year, it still seemed somewhat foreign. The guard talking to another male was familiar to her, she noticed with a soft smile. He was a friend of her family, and had helped her out from time to time while she was in training. "Long time no see, sir," she called as soon as she was close enough for him to hear her.

She stopped beside the hooded male and saluted the knight on guard, a smile lighting her expression for the first time all day. "I take it that everything's been alright since I left, since I haven't received any letters from any of the higher ups?" she asked, lowering her hand back to her side.

Knight: oh yes lady Bianca you have returned and what perfect timing it seems this man was wishing to speak with you ( he points Out Edgar)

Edgar: No way...is that really Bianca?! I hardly recognize her for one her hairs up and her face she's much more grown up and wow there's no way umm hiya ( he removes his hood so she could see his face) been a long time Bianca ( he smiles at her)

Hale nodded at her gesture and bowed his head in respect. "Thank you Miss Ember, I really appreciate that, but you really don't have to replay my kindness." Hale followed Ember out of her bed and to track the Aesir energy. "You don't mind if I hop along with you right? I think helping you will help a lot of people later on. So all in all I'm helping. Plus I gotta make sure you don't get hurt again before you're all better." Hale offered a smile even though he knew she was more skilled and better trained than Hale could hope to be.

As soon as the man's hood was down Bianca felt her smile grow wider. "It can't be... It's been so long since he left. There's no way it's him..." As soon as he spoke, however, she knew without a doubt who it was standing before her. Nothing about him had changed enough that she wouldn't, aside from the fact that he had gotten older and now looked more mature. "I don't believe it... Edgar?" she asked, all prior thoughts of Soma and the seal breaking long forgotten.

Edgar: y-yeah it's me I thought I'd finally come home I mean it's been a long time since I was home and I was worried you wouldn't recognize me at first ( he rubs the back of his head to hide his embarrassment) can we go somewhere private? ( he glances as a bunch of the knights have their attention turned on the two completely focused on them and ignoring their jobs including the big knight)

Knight: oh lady Bianca is this some sort of former boyfriend could this be the heart wrenching reunion of two start crossed lovers Hahaha! ( he begins to laugh and tease Bianca)

Bianca rolled her eyes at the knight's comments and returned her attention to Edgar, shaking her head with a faint laugh. "I just get back in town and they start. Being one of very few females around here has never been easy," she said loud enough for the other eavesdropping knights to hear. She turned her attention back to Edgar when she heard them begin to return to their duties, although she knew they were still listening intently.

Deciding to catch up with her childhood friend now would allow her some time to decide what to do about Soma, and at the same time give him time to get a little further away in the scenario that he was telling her the truth. Plus, she had really missed Edgar when he had left. This could work to her advantage in more ways than one, she realized. "I actually came back today to inform my father of something, but it can wait a little longer, I suppose... Do you have somewhere in mind?"
