"When did I need you to check up on me Doll Girl?" She closed her eyes and crossed her arms as the elevator continued up. Part of her wondered if they were spies, making sure she didn't leave just like Seiji did. She listened to the silence as she opened her eyes a little. The last time anything had been so quiet had been wrong. She couldn't quite remember what happened, but his face... A slight frown formed on her face.

"Maemi! Maemi!" A blue haired man's face was close to hers. She was finding it hard to stay awake. "Don't leave me behind. You haven't agreed to marry me yet!" Was he crying? What in the world was he crying over? She'd be alright if she...

Ever stoic with her slight smile in place, Araihan merely shrugged. "Everyone can use someone checking up on them from time to time. And at least with me, she don't have to hear that sword rave about getting you naked," she countered with a slight chuckle. "But mostly..." She stopped and changed the subject with a flippant gesture. No, she'd keep that to herself. Instead, she'd turn to other things. "Another bus is coming, by the way. Not very full though, by the looks of it from here. Probably one or two more. Three, tops," Araihan finished as the Elevator passed the third floor.

"Either of you can take them in and settle them then. I've already chosen my one obligation and I'm sure you both need as many as you can." She spoke, her mind going away from the thoughts she had currently. As it stopped on the fourth floor, she exited the elevator and began heading towards her apartment. "Think you can handle one or two new arrivals until tonight's orientation Doll Girl? I'll ask Sword Boy if you're that inconvenienced."

"I'm hurt. Do you find me that worthless?" she asked as the elevator door opened and Maemi walked out. "I can take care of it. I've fully finished my recovery, after all, so I'm back to full duty," she called back as the doors closed and the elevator started down. Inside, Araihan leaned back against the wall as she rode it downstairs. This couldn't be like that last two teams. She'd perfect this. Inside Maemi's office, the dolls looked up at Maemi a moment before fading away. On her desk was a steaming plate of food with a pitcher and a few sandwiches on the side on another plate.

Maemi sighed a little as she approached her desk and sat. 'The times I want to give a reward to Doll Girl the dolls keep running away.' She shook her head and began to eat to hopefully be able to be in somewhat better spirits for when the meeting would inevitably require her to explain everything. Still, she didn't want to have to figure out too much from the others in order to keep them from destroying the house.

Punch us all out of bed, eh? Akiko thought to herself with a smirk. Mother really is interesting. I wonder what sort of things I'll learn from her... A man with green hair, one of the ones she identified as a group leader had taken a seat next to her roommate. He was being quite kind to her, something that caused one eyebrow to shift up in surprise. Well, at least the leadership here is....diverse. We have the aggressive mother, the chaotic neutral lolita, and the kind swordsman. The man looked at her an nodded, causing Akiko to tense defensively- but he was only commenting on the doll she had... received? She nodded to him briskly and took to looking at the other inductees. It was true. None of the others seemed to have a doll of their own like she and her roommate did. Curious... she thought to herself happily.

She looked back to her roommate, who had resumed her conversation with the green haired man, Zorlo she noted mentally. Actually, it seemed that Zorlo had resumed his conversation. Akiko approached the table, touching an empty chair with her hand. She smiled sheepishly, the hair curls bouncing down, looking like turned town cat ears, as she asked, "Is it alright if I sit here? I'd like to hear anything you have to say. She glanced to her roommate, too, with a friendly smile.

Zorlo looked at her and quirked an eyebrow at Akiko. "I see. You are the other with one of her dolls. Yours is also very pretty. Take good care of them, they're very important. Rare is it that Ara gives people those dolls. She must already really like the two of you," Zorlo stated as he smiled widely at the two of them. "And sit wherever you wish to. My only job here, aside from training my team, is to be a spiritual guide who helps people recover their spirit after the trauma of death. If you ever need someone you need to speak to about your role here, you may stop by my room on third floor. Just speak to Ara about it first... as you'll need her help to enter my floor," he said as he had, at some point, gathered another plate of food.

Yuriko smiled back the best she could towards her room mate. While they hadn't really talked at all, it seemed like they could at least respect each other. Which was good if she didn't want to cause trouble. She moved her hands slowly towards the doll to make sure it was comfortable in her lap while the conversation continued. Everyone seemed like they at least understood the intention of the house and the expected behavior.

As Yuriko's Doll smiled contently in her lap, leaned back against her with eyes closed, Akiko's Doll glided forward from her shoulder toward the relaxing Doll and pointed at it. Yuriko's Doll opened an eye to look up at Akiko's doll questioningly. With hands on hips, it pouted slightly, getting a shrug from Yuriko's Doll as it looked with both eyes now, making Akiko's Doll cross its arms and look away crossly. The two stayed like at a moment before smiling jovially at one another. The two Dolls gave the impression of having had an unheard conversation & joke.
A room or two away, the elevator opened and Araihan walked out with a sigh as she moved to sit in a comfy chair nearby. She felt tired for some reason, and her blame was on the extended recovery she'd been forced into after the events that had emptied hers and Zorlo's teams. Or maybe she wasn't as recovered as she thought. In the end, it didn't matter. "...I'm gonna have to lean on Green Hair more...probably, at least..." she said to herself as she commanded a doll. In the Kitchen, a slightly bigger version of the general dolls floating around opened the fridge to float out a large bottle of semi-icy, dark liquid and float out of the room with it toward Araihan. She'd wait here for incoming late bus and relax in the meantime.

Akiko watched the dolls converse curiously. It seemed like her doll had an attitude, which she liked, and then they both seemed in on the joke. She liked these... "So, Zorlo- is it ok if I call you that? I know we're supposed to be using nicknames-" Her eyes dart up to him, gleaming impishly before returning to the dolls, "Are these living beings?" She cranes her neck to view the dolls from a different angles. "Do they carry notes, too?"

Her attention was returned to Zorlo as his plate seemingly filled by itself. "And how does that work?" She nods her head indicating the now full plate.

"It is what it is," he said, referring to all of her questions. "Simple as that. And those dolls may or may not have notes. I've only seen this kind of thing once or twice. Ara ill relieves such special dolls from herself. As for myself, call me Zorlo, Green-Hair or Sword Boy. I care not," the green-haired man stated with a smile as he leaned back in his chair. "The impressive battle of wits you two will need to play with her can be dangerous, but is ultimately rewarding. I hope you two enjoy your stay here," he said, rising from his chair and picking up his now empty plate.

With a silent few strides, Zorlo moved towards his room. He would take some time to relax, or wait for Ara to come get him for the meeting. Those were always SO much fun.

A time skip will now be initiated. Make your Posts accordingly.

Yuriko was currently sitting in the common room with the doll. She seemed to be making a bit of conversation by trying to figure out if she needed something special regarding the washing of the clothes or if she should learn to make new ones. It seemed like it was getting nearer and nearer to the time to meet the headmistress for orientation. She looked towards the doll again and kept a hand stroking the doll's hair.

----

In the kitchen, Maemi and a few of her teams were working on dinner. One of them was Mary, who was mixing a sauce above the stove. Maemi was slightly kneading some dough to help make tomorrow's breakfast a bit easier for someone else. "So, what sort of questions do you think they'll ask, mother?" She asked as she lowered the heat on the pot. "You seem to be hoping for a short one."

"Don't I always Briar Rose?"

Akiko was also in her room. She was sitting on the floor, building a series of crude traps and mechanisms using pens, pencils, paper clips... anything unimportant she had happened to find on her short adventure through the building. She set a coin on a bottle cap catapult, and looked over to her doll. She was curious if it was interested in such activity. As she watched it, she asked, "Do you have a name, little one?" With a toothy smile she added. "I'm Bit."

Bill, as the new guy, and given that he hadn't done any cooking in decades except for supervising the annual great big family crawfish cookouts and the last time he tried to barbecue anything it all burned, was sitting on a stool with a knife and a great big bag of potatoes to peel. "There's really only six questions. Who? What? Where? When? Why? And How? And if you're the one in charge, you can usually ignore the whys." He supplied cheerfully and returned to humming softly to himself as he worked.

Akiko's doll turned to look at her from where it was floating and watching some of the things that she was building. Gliding over from the last thing Akiko had made, it shook it's head as it stopped about a foot from the girl. It reached behind itself and then pulled out and opened a large note saying, "Would you like to name me?" Below the line were three drawings. All or which were of buttons; One marked 'yes', one marked 'no', and the other marked 'later'. All three drawings looked real too, almost like you could push one...
Down in the first floor greeting room, Araihan stirred from the impromptu nap she'd found herself in. "...? When did I...?" Araihan murmured to herself as she sat up and yawned. Then she noticed it. What had woken her up from her nap was an ascending queue of Doll Queries. Most were Maemi & team 'kicking them out' of the kitchen to begin dinner and were cleared immediately. But the last one were from her Outside Dolls. They reported the late bus pulling up and kicking out the one occupant aboard it.. That's the real thing that had awoken her. Sure enough, a few moments later, the outer door slammed shut and a somewhat confused looking young woman walked in holding a bag and Katana. She has great...potential... she thought as she looked her up and down. "Welcome to Angel House. You are...?"

"Ahh, sorry, I was distracted. I'm Sakura. Friends call me 'Chiery'," she replied with a slight bow. "Say, what's going on? am I-" The woman paused as Araihan held up a hand and indicated for her to follow.

"Come, I'll explain as I show you to a room," Araihan replied as she lead her to the elevator.

Akiko's sleepy eyes widened at the doll in lazy curiosity. "Would you like to name me..." she quoted. With a small smile, she pushed the 'yes' "button" on the paper. She thought for a long moment, her hand cupping around her chin and her tongue peeking out the corner of her mouth in the process. And then, with a start, she exclaimed, "I know! Rogue." Mouth curling in a coy smile, she looked at the doll with playfully mischievous eyes. "You and your sister seem like you'd be real fun troublemakers."

Breathe

Post by Giegue »

Fon sat outside his room, his legs crossed and holding a strange looking device. After lunch and the small talk, Fon went to his room with Claudia. He decided he would train his body in their downtime and performed various training excercises. Fon took no time noticing he had disturbed Claudia. Politely he excused himself and using the many halls of Angel's House Fon practiced various cardiovascular activities. After other all was done Fon re-entered his room and took the device with him from his bag. After he removed the device, the bag seemed empty.

Fon's fists were pressed against the lantern-like device. Inside, three brown spheres resided. One permently fixed at each end, and the remaining seemed to go up and down based on Fon's breathing. Each time Fon inhaled, the ball rose, and each exhale caused the ball to descend. Fon had been doing this for some time now, and had removed his shirt. Sweat seemed to remain stationary on Fon, the beads remaining still after they formed.

As soon as she spoke the name after pushing the drawing, the button depressed as the note burst into colorful motes of light that surrounded the doll. A see-through blue panel appeared next to the now glowing Doll that displayed, "Benevolent Doll Companion" on it. A text cursor appeared below it before the name 'Rouge' formed and the panel burst into more motes of light that slowly vanished with the rest. The Glow faded from Rouge as she smiled at Akiko. Rouge... I like it, came a faint voice in the back of Akiko's mind. What also bloomed in the back of her mind was a much stronger awareness of where Rouge was in relation to herself.
But both Yuriko & Akiko's dolls turned to look just before the ding of the elevator stopping on their floor announced someone coming, rarity of itself for that floor. Ara was walking out with Sakura following along side talking to the Doll Mistress.

Kyousuke: ( after lunch kyousuke found his way back to his room he decided maybe be be could take a nap until he reached I to his bag as he saw and picked up a picture the picture seemed old and it was of kyousuke and some girl they were wearing some type of uniform and they were smiling. After this kyousuke placed the picture in his pocket as he left the room) Soraka...I'll be right back I'm gonna go for a walk. ( he walked out of the room as he placed his hands in his pockets he decided he should atleAst learn his way around the house seeig as how this was his new "home" if you could call it that. thoughts raced through his mind about the house, about the people he saw and his new teammates. Fon some type of martial arts master at a young age despite what it seemed he didn't seem to care about Meeting himself or Soraka he just seemed focused on something else although some thing felt nostalgic about the man, Soraka a carefree hot tempered man who decided to stick with kyousuke, Claudia the wolf in Sheeps clothing the type of woman kyousuke couldn't help but feel like she had some type of agenda but felt as though she'd be the only one in the group to match wits with him if it ever came down it
and last it not least the priest zorlo kyousuke couldn't make much sense of him thus adding more questions to this strange situation) *sigh* ( He leans against the wall as he takes his glasses off to rub his eyes) This is some place. What kind of training is waiting for us tomorrow?

"I suppose it's always more of the worry regarding how long anyone has to be here." Maemi spoke, moving the dough into a proper container to be kept fresh until the morning. She moved her hands under a stream of water. She had been terrible at cooking beyond the typical meal. She vaguely wondered if there would ever have a time where she'd have to poison someone's food ever again. Of course it wouldn't happen. Even if she could poison the food, they were already dead as it was. Death wasn't possible from typical standards anymore. She drew her hand up and stared at the rather annoying ring on her finger. Normally one wouldn't wear a ring. However, Seiji had enforced his will on the ring. Even now, she wondered how much longer it would be until it fell off her finger. "We'll be starting the orientation soon. You can take a break for the night, Bill." She walked out of the room and into the lounge area. She'd be waiting there to see how long it would take them.

----

Yuriko blinked, surprised at the sound for a moment. She drew her body up, holding the doll again as she opened the door to see who had arrived. There seemed to be a new recruit arriving just before orientation.
