Hale readied his blade at the new voice, but lowered it when he said it was merely Ember. “Thanks for the patch up, and I'm not a little kid ya know, I've fought a wee bit.” Before following Ember, Hale cleaned his blade of the owlbear's blood and dipped it in the lake to make sure it was clean.“...Though five of those doesn't sound too fun. We'll be going after them one by one right?” He smiled again and laughed, jogging up to meet her. “Because the only reason I got that one the way I did was because I had a bit of time to come up with a little plan.” A sleepless night he could handle, fighting a hoard of those without help however wasn't something he could handle.

Dimitri accepted the man's knowledge and quickly pursued the “inn” which the Bartender spoke of. “I will finally put an end to this Soma!” He cried out as he entered the inn. “Soma! I know you're in here!” he shouted as soon as he entered the inn. “I know you're in here! If you come with me quietly the king may offer you leniency.”

Soma: Uhh okay time to go.. ( he gets up as he leaves the room) I need your help I'll go distract him I need you to meet me in about 10 minutes

Carson: so Uhh who's that?

Soma: it's one o the sages

Carson: wow your on the run from the sages I think I'm starting to like you! Allright sure I got your back buddy

( soma walks down the steps of the inn and into the entrance area)

Soma: dammit get out of my way you really think the king would show me leniency after all the lies you and our brothers told him! After you made me look like a traitor after you trapped me in the abyss you honestly believe the long would show me leniency why don't you leave me be for once dimitri

"Well, I'm certainly glad that you still remembered us in all of your traveling, Edgar.I'm especially glad that you remembered my cooking enough to start an argument over it. I do hope that you won that argument as well," Justine replied with another soft laugh. Everything about her screamed motherly, and she wore it well. "He's missed you just as much as the rest of us have, speaking of Adrian. I'm sure he would probably put you through the ringer, should you be around long enough to see him, however, just to see what you've learned from your travels. You know how he is."

Bianca finally reached her father's closed door and stopped, finding herself unable to reach up and knock on the door. "He wouldn't send me out today. I mean, we don't even know where he could have gone unless there's somehow been reports of him that I haven't heard about yet... If that was the case, however, all of the knights here would be scattering about or gone one..." She sighed and counted to ten in her head before she finally reached up and knocked three times. A male voice that sounded aged beyond it's day called in response.

"Come in."

Edgar: don't you worry I made sure I was leaving that town until the acknowledged your cooking was better ( he smiles playfully his expression almost childlike) yeah so he's still the same as ever An old stiff who takes training all to seriously? Not that I'm surprised at all actually he was allways like that also I think I might be around for awhile so if its still there can I stay in my old room? ( he feels almost embarrassed)

Justine almost looked shocked at his question, as if he were asking for something completely out of the ordinary. "As if you need to ask. Of course you can stay, Edgar. I've kept it up for you, but do let me know if you find you need anything that's not there and I'll make sure you have it." She shook her head like a mother does to a young child and couldn't help but laugh softly. "I swear, you act as if you're a stranger. Just because you've been away for a few years doesn't mean that I've forgotten about you, dear. You're still just as much family as my little Bianca is."

Bianca walked in, closing the door behind her with a soft 'click'. Her father was staring down at his desk, his pen scribbling across a stack of paperwork rapidly. He didn't even look up, his hand continuously scribbling across his stack of paper. "Good evening, Bianca. It's been awhile since you've been home. Is everything alright at the ruins?" he called, his voice soft, yet clearly masculine.

"Good evening, father," Bianca called with a slight bow before she stepped forward, stopping a few steps away from the large oak desk. She crossed her hands behind her back in a very formal manner and took a deep breath before answering his question. "As a matter of fact, that's why I'm here. There was an accident earlie-" His pen suddenly stopped scratching across the paper, and he finally looked up to see his daughter. He read her face in a split second and stood, his hands banging on the desk as he did.

"He's free?" Her silence was all he needed. "Tell me what happened, Bianca."

She gulped loudly, but did, leaving out only the part where she let him go freely. When she was finished speaking, her heart beating faster than she had ever felt it beat, he ran his hands through his shoulder length hair and looked to the window. "We'll send out troops to all the major cities immediately. For now, I want you to stay here, but should we find his location..."

Bianca nodded, knowing too well what he was implying. He nodded in reply and returned to his seat. "Go and tell the men downstairs to prepare themselves. I'll be down to give them further orders in a minute." Bianca nodded again and turned, leaving the room to do as she was instructed to do.

"No, the next one will be solo, maybe the next two, but after that they will come at us in a group once night has fallen. There is no need for you to worry, Luca removed the interference your healers caused so I won't be leaving you to deal with them on your own again." She watched Hale as they walked. "We have some time, do you have any questions for me?"

Edgar: thank you so much Justine I don know how I can ever thank you for the kindness you've shown me and raised me its more than any normal person would do ( he smiles wide like a child as he wipes his face almost as of her kind words really touched him after he wipes his face clean) thank you so much its really nice to know I'll always have a home to come back too here let me help you clean up...

"No, no, don't you worry about a thing," Justine said, taking the dishes away before he could stand. She walked over to the sink and began to wash them, humming to herself lightly as she did. "As I said," she called back as she cleaned. "I've been awful lonely these past few months. Adrian hardly even comes home to sleep nowadays, much less eat, and Bianca's been gone... You know I've always been one to want to keep busy, but it's been a little harder than normal with them away. I did manage to start a garden finally, though, because of it." She laughed a tender laugh and finished the last dish, laying them aside in a drying rack to dry before she turned back around.

Another knock at the door echoed through the house, pulling her attention off of Edgar for just a moment. "Two guests in one day? Now this is a rarity." She went to the door and opened it, leaving Edgar in the kitchen alone.

Edgar: ( he looks around at the house as a bunch of great memories come flooding back into his mind As he fills up a gallon of water And he quickly goes to water the plants for Justine s he walks back inside the back door without her noticing) it truely Is a really nice garden ( he walks back into the kitchen As he starts to finish cleaning up the dishes and he starts to clean) I know she said so but what's wrong with helping out when I can? ( he laughs lightly)

"I thought I told you to leave those for me," Justine called with mock frustration as she re-entered the room behind Edgar. Her voice softened as she continued, an excited smile showing itself in her tone. "Now get back here and leave that to me, Edgar. Besides, we have more company that I think you would want to spend time with much more than you would with those chores..."

She stepped out of the doorway to reveal the second 'guest' and Bianca stepped into the room. Her hair was now down and flowing down her back, but she otherwise looked the same as she had earlier. She smiled when she noticed Edgar, but her mother guided her into a chair just as she had with Edgar before she could say anything. "I get both of my babies back in one day. Who would have thought?" Justine practically sang, smiling like a proud mother. "Are you sure you don't want anything, darling?"

Bianca shook her head 'no' and looked back at Edgar. "Did she feed you already, like I said she would?"

Edgar: yeah she did it was really good how come your not eating are you sure your not Hungry? ( he looks her up and down) oh wow your hair you really did grow it out ( he blushes slightly) you look good ( he smiles as he shrugs away the Blush) yeah you were right If to got fed almost immediately so you done with work for today?

"Until my father calls me back," Bianca replied with a sigh. She began twisting a larger strand of hair laying on her shoulder into a loose braid as she spoke, looking toward Edgar but still somewhat looking off at nothing. It was a nervous habit she had had as long as she could remember. "But I'm glad you two got to reconnect a little as well while I was gone." She refocused on her surroundings and let her hair fall loosely again. It remained half braided, but she let it be for the moment.

"He should just let you go for the day," Justine interrupted with a faint sigh, her gaze falling toward the front of the house. "I wish he would take a day for himself as well, however. It's been so long since I've had all of you home, and I miss the days when I could..."

Edgar: whatever ( he lays back in th chair) he's been like this ever since we were kids you'd think he would lighten up and learn to be not so uptight too had I was looking forward to actually seeing the old man ( he notices Bianca's hair) I see you still do that whenever you nervous or upset ita good to know that things really haven't changed well look at the bright sIDE Justine were here so I imagine I missed a lot ( in a effort the beer the two of them up he tells a funny story of his adventures when he had to clean a ship to get a free ride and was a pirate for a day accidentally)....I haven't been the luckiest

"Neither of you seem to have changed much, even though it's been quite some time since I've had both of you home," Justine added with another laugh. "Bianca still takes more from her father than she ever will from me, and you're still the laid back occasional trouble maker I remembered you to be." Bianca faintly blushed at her mother's comment, her eyes avoiding both her and Edgar as best as she could. Justine noticed and stood, kissing the top of her daughter's head as she did. "I need to go out and get some things for dinner, so I'll try to convince Adrian to come home and visit a little while too while I'm out. Would you two like to come with me, or would you like to stay here and continue to catch up for a little while? I won't be gone too long either way, but you're both grown enough to make your decisions."

Edgar: oh umm I'm okay either way are you sure you'll be able to take care of it? I mean it's really up to Bianca after all I just came back so I'm up for anything I mean I would love to catch up but I'd love to give you a hand as well if you need I'm sure Bianca feels the same way ( he looks towards Bianca) right?

"Oh, I'll be fine. It's not as if I'm going out to buy more than just a few things. You two just stay here and get caught up. I'll be back soon, and hopefully with Adrian either with me or not far behind me." With that, Justine left the room and the house, leaving the childhood friends alone to catch up.

"She's missed you as much as she has me, you know," Bianca called with a smile as soon as she was sure her mother was no longer in the house. "She really missed you when you left. We all did; Even my father, although that may have a lot to do with the fact that he missed having such a good sparring partner," she teased, hoping that she could convince herself to have a better day in doing so, despite not being sure of where she would be come tomorrow.

Edgar: oh come on I wasent that strong although now I do believe I could give the old man a run for his money though... I remember he's crazy strong I bet your much stronger now as well so anyway wanna go spar or of you want I have more stories but I don't want to spoil it for you cause there's still so much I want to show you for myself

“You are a traitor and forever will be branded as such brother Soma!” Dimitri yelled, obviously offended by Soma's accusations. “We told no lies of your actions, and you should be grateful the king hasn't sent an army to vanquish you! If you leave with me now, you'll merely remain imprisoned for the remainder of your life! However, cross me now, and I will make sure you wish you were only in a chamber for all of eternity!” Dimitri readied his flute, he was irate, and Soma had little options left for escape.

Hale sighed in relief. “That's good, sounds much better...um actually, I got er... I mean I do have a question.” Hale said trying to adjust his pace to meet with hers. “Ember, if I were a Ranger, how would I be different from a Knight? Titles and magic use slash five word language aside of course.” Hale said brandishing his smile.

Soma: so theirs no talking to you...You brand me a traitor because I chose to fight against youto protect this world of you opened the gates Gaia will be engulfed by the aesir the gates are the one things keeping them at bay dimitri of you open the gates the Valhalla you the know what will happen our entire world be destroyed and purged of all life ( he draws his sword as soon as he sees dimitri's flute) again you refuse to listen to me you call me a monster but your to arrogant to realize what your actually Doing to our world! You seal me away in the abyss you throw your own brother in a prison and call him a beast for what protecting Gaia from destruction i'm going to stop you you took everything away from! ( he activates the alpha stigma) if I didn't stop you back then Gaia would o been engulfed in chaos and destruction! I have stop you you left me no choice back then and your giving me no choice now...why won't you ever listen to me?!

"He's learned a lot of new techniques since you left, most of them he hasn't even taught me yet, but then again you've been all over the world, so it would be interesting to watch you two spar a little if he does come home. I doubt he will, though, with what news I reported to him..." Bianca sighed and stood, pushing her chair in as she did.

"I thought about this the whole way home, and I think I'm making the best choice, so... A lot's going to happen over the next few days around here, so it's probably best I give you a little heads up just so you can go ahead and plan what you want to do about it, Edgar." She began walking towards the back door, motioning at him to follow her. "Let's go back to the garden to talk about it. I need a little relaxation after talking to him, if you don't mind."
