I would buy the Japanese version, but I will wait for the American as I don´t understand Japanese.

My friend gave me a chipped PS2, but I'm not sure if that can play Japanese games, so I'll just wait for the American version which won't come here for a while >.<

I got mine via mail today and OMG.
I have some information for you people who have to wait for the U.S. releases. No, not any spoilers.
Vol.1 - Meh, kinda sucked you in.
Vol.2 - Got ALOT more insteresting and left you with many questions
Vol.3 - OMFG. This is by far the best .hack// game I have ever played. It punches you in the face with the story VERY early on in the game, unlike the previous two. There aren't any (well any I've ran into so far) dull moments, and some of the characters will REALLY surprise you.
It's definately worth the wait, and I'm positive Im the most impatient person on these boards.
