Wow, I'm surprised. Is Bandai taking their time? Volume 2 and 3 are already out, while we're still back in Volume 1. I wonder if we'll ever see the next two games?

Vol. 1 will have only been out for three months as of January 24th in the U.S. So far its following the Japanese release structure perfectly. Vol. 1 released in Japan on May 18th; Vol. 2 released on September 28th; and Vol. 3 is out today. Japanese .hack fans waited at least 4 months in between volumes. Not only does localizing .hack//G.U. take time but strategic marketing does indeed set a release date "x" months after the previous volume.

So I have no clue why you're surprised.
