Vol. 3 wish list
As the release date for vol. 3 is getting closer and closer, what is everyone hopeing/expecting from vol. 3?
Heres my current list:
3) Haveing Helba appear; it would be... nice.
2) PLZ don't destroy Cubia the same way he was destroyed in IMOQ, that would destroy GU.
1) PLZ let Aura make some kind of appearence no matter how small and/or how short.
This I'm not to sure about yet:
Completely destroy the phases this time; GU basically proves that as long as Altimit keeps makeing efficient OS systems the only way for a future net crisis to form is if the 8 phases exist in The World.

Re: Vol. 3 wish list
Nope, that's not an option. Aura's gone, the network and the real world are falling apart. There needs to be an Ultimate AI that controls the network in order for peace to be restored. If they completely destroy the Phases, there would be no chance of an Ultimate AI being created. Even if they are completely destroyed after an Ultimate AI is created, if that AI runs away, there is no way to make another one. In simple words, if the Phases were completely destroyed, it could lead to the network and the real world falling apart forever later.awkward_confusion wrote:This I'm not to sure about yet:

Re: Vol. 3 wish list
EDIT: Damnit x3 Kouen beat me to the Aura thing :3
If cubia is indeed the same as he was in IMOQ, refered to as a 'shadow' once I believe, the only way to get rid of it, would be to destroy the object in the light. (i.e. Bracelet = Cubia. No bracelet = No Cubia.)
If the new/returning Cubia holds the same properties and reasons for existance as it has in IMOQ, the the only was to destroy it would be to part the Epitaph-Users from thier avatars.
Anyway, back on topic.
I: I wanna see a Ginkan cameo Like in ROOTS x33
II: I would like to see a return of Helba, it seems logical if hackers repair haseo's character after the AIDA infection that Helba - knowing about the former net crisises (sp? x_x)- would make a return and be the person behind the assistance. Unless all hackers know everything off in 'The World' and always medle into things >.>

Hmmm...
-An explanation of why Aura left The World
-A good ending, that solves all the problems with AIDA and stuff, at the same time leaves a chance for more .hack stuff
-Optional quests with every character, including the Azure Knights (just imagine what would people do if they saw you next to a floating zombie xD)
-EXACT proof about the Kuhn=Sieg/Endrance=Elk theories. Just something that tells exactly wether they are or not
-More difficult, with a freaking hard final boss and uber hard optional boss
I think thats all for now

- final scene to be a huge midair battle between Skeith and Cubia, which skeith loses, then everyone, not just the first four, calls skeith, then it get revived, and just for a twist,is absorbs the Cubia with datadrain, who has at this pint alrady revived Eina, then using skeiths data and the data of the other avatars, Azure kite rebuolds an awsome body for Eina, who becomes the ultimate AI,then the 3 azure knights sacrifice themselves to recreate a perfect skeith.....except mabye orca who is still scared of skeith.

I guess if you put it like that, but I pictured GU ending with humanity not being dependent on an Ultimate AI, because then GU meaning "Grow Up" would make sense, and destroying the phases would require any future series to be more original, but as I said Im not sure if I wanted them to be destroyed or not; although if any thing avatar related does survive vol. 3 it'll probably be the lost weapons.Nope, that's not an option. Aura's gone, the network and the real world are falling apart. There needs to be an Ultimate AI that controls the network in order for peace to be restored. I was trying to say don't end GU like this:If cubia is indeed the same as he was in IMOQ, refered to as a 'shadow' once I believe, the only way to get rid of it, would be to destroy the object in the light. (i.e. Bracelet = Cubia. No bracelet = No Cubia.)
If the new/returning Cubia holds the same properties and reasons for existance as it has in IMOQ, the the only was to destroy it would be to part the Epitaph-Users from thier avatars.
Haseo: Atoli we have to destroy the avatars! If they're two sides of the same coin then destroying the avatars will destroy Cubia and the AIDA.
Atoli: But...
Haseo: If you won't do it I'll destroy them myself *raises one twin blade about to slash avatars*
Atoli: Fine, I'll do it! *Prepares to attack*
*Haseo jumps up carrying the avatars*
*Atoli jumps up about to slash the avatars*
*Avatars shatter and Cubia breaks down into binary code*
Yeah it would also be good it if didn't end with Cubia comatizing everyone except Haseo because Ovan takes the hit for him. Then Haseo does one last final attack that wouldn't actually do anything except Eina activates and fixes everything. God I hated that part of the first series. I'd like to hope Haseo and co and can actually fix this problem on their own without any divine intervention which would fit with the theme of growing up (not letting a virtual goddess fix all the net's problems for you.)
- MORE ENJU.
- KuhnxPai, HaseoxAtoli or HaseoxShino, EndrancexSakubo? (Uh...nah...)
- Actually, I only care about KuhnxPai. So never mind the other pairings.
- 100% confirmation and clarity that Kuhn = Sieg and Endrance = Elk, although it's already so obvious.
- Someone random from IMOQ / Liminality to make an appearance as a side-character. And not Piros and Natsume. They're...great and all, but I want someone like Moonstone or Mai Minase to show up out of the blue.
- I want it to turn out that Yata's the one you should look out for, not Ovan. I know Ovan has the AIDA Arm, but Yata's the more suspicious of the two. Moreover, Ovan isn't an intentional villain; he just got dragged into all this crap, and if anything, he wants it to stop, hence the reason why he's always pushing Haseo to grow stronger and defeat him (I believe). But Yata has been shown to be untruthful, to manipulate others' emotions and desires, to form connections and then abandon them if they no longer serve of use to him, and purposely to hold back on certain areas of information. Listening to him and watching him in Rebirth made me wonder if he's the one who's a "foe disguised as a friend," not Ovan. If not a foe, maybe someone who isn't 100% of an ally as you'd initially think him to be.
