What are the things needed to upgrade your steambike? Death Grunty gives you some at first, but then I don't see anymore...

You can buy them from shops at Mac Anu and Dol Dona.
Dol Dona's shop is near the @home. You can't miss it if you look around, though it is a little aside from everything else in the Root Town.
Mac Anu's shop is near the ship at the harbor.

Since this is a topic about bike upgrades, what are they? I mean I'd assume there'd be a speed one, but is there an appearence upgrade?

I'm glad about the bike customitatn upgrade , because the motorbike in vol1 it was so slw Haseo running has the same speed ..........

I agree. I hated that thing. It was practially pointless, just like crimson vs in that vol.
