If Bandai finally decided to release a big MMORPG game (like Final Fantasy Xi, and WoW).

What Version of "The World" would you prefer? and Why?

R:2
The battle system is so much more fun, Rengeki pwnz, and Steampunk is just cool (Last Exile anyone?)

I always hated having like nine enemies just pile ontop of my party before I even got to the dungeon in R:1, so I'm partial to the battle area idea in R:2 that usually keeps it to a 3-on-3 setup (PVP excluded).

Realisticaly
deregarding everything .Hack stands for
and thinking souly on the game "The World"

I'd pick R2
the classes are more wide-spread
the towns are more vast
and the guild-thing is kinda neat..

whoosh I would go for R:2, they ahve more classes to choose from, and like the people above said, awsome combat sytem.

p.s. I belive they are comming out with a world MMO but it will only be in japanese...

if you're refering to //FRAGMENT then no, its an Online game not a MMORPG....^^
I just hope they hurry up and release one...

btw, I vote for "The World", because I like the medival Cyber Punk look......

Dood, MMORPG = Massive(ignore this, Fragment wasn't really massive) Multiplayer ONLINE RPG.

I believe Fragment would count as an mmorpg. Massively Multiplayer is whenever there's a central server you connect through i believe. A game like Neverwinter Nights where you connect directly to the other users rather than going to a lobby is an Morpg (multiplayer online rpg)
