The most common theory is that the AIDA were created when the Avatars were. They are the anti-existence of the Epitaph Users, and get bigger and stronger as the Avatars do.

The Data Bugs were erradicated by Kite post-Morganna Incident. //Unison proves that.

Data Bugs appear like normal monsters. They are simply infected monsters. AIDA are artificially intelligent, somewhat like Aura.

My belief is that Cubia is the root of all AIDA. He is the ultimate anti-existence to the Epitaph Users. If this is true, which is quite likely, then Cubia is one with the AIDA, while the old Cubia was neutral to the Data Bugs and Kite.

Data bugs are just buged monsters with infinite HP

AIDA can posses players and can induce comas when they attack players or through an AIDA-PC. They have behaviors similar to an Anti-Existence.

No I don't think they are anything alike.

They are anomalies that threaten the system. There is nothing else that links the two. In fact, they are opposites. One is an anti-existence to the creator of the other.

No. There's a seven year gap seperating the extinction of Data Bugs and the arrival of the AIDA.

data bugs and AIDA both apear from an avitar space and they are "invincible" to the average player. They both require data drains to take out core data. cubia seems to not fight either of them

NEITHER of them come from Avatar Space. Hell, Avatar Space didn't even exist when the Data Bugs were around. Just because they're invincible and require Data Drain to defeat means nothing, otherwise you could say Aura is a Data Bug, which is stupid.

Cubia doesn't bother either of them because he's not the Anti Existencer to either.

The Data Bugs did not threaten the system. In fact, they were created by the system (Morganna) to form her army. The AIDA are basically allergic reactions of the World in response to the Avatars and are more of a threat to the players than the system.

Son of a....! Not this again! Cubia is NOT AN ANTI-HACKER PROGRAM. That information is FALSE. Cubia's only exists only to oppse the existance it manifests from. So Kite wanted to find Aura, Cubia will stop him. Kite wanted to save Orca, Cubia would stop him. That is the ONLY thing an Anti-existance does.

Data Bugs are nothing like that they are just random monsters that behave as such. All they have is infinite HP.

Every monster was not infected. Virus cores can be taken from monters in R:2, as well.

avatar space does not appear. it is just 'there' it can be seen as somthin like 'super-reality' by the avatar users

No those were just unique fields. No one but Epitaph Wielders can see Avatar Space. Yet Kite and his friends saw the field clearly.
