soemthign I have been wondering... every one called azure kite tri-edge right because of the 3 marked slash I get that but why didnt anyone call him kite? donse no oen remember the .hackers in GU...that cant be I mean khun was in R1 wasent he how coem he couldent put 2 and 2 togeather?

Remember this, CC Corp. tried to hide the Twilight Incident. Besides, it's been 7 years since the incident, everyone playing then would have aged 7 years. So if they were 15 during the incident, they are 22 now. They'd be busy with jobs and college to worry about a game. So a large portion of R:1 players have grown and don't play R:2. So less people would know about Kite.

Yeah, but damn, you'd think someone would remember, or at least have heard about them/him.

Well maybe you havn't seen any characters that know about Kite yet. Also just to interest you on the topic of if any character knows about the Twilight Incident and some stuff. There is a character that spams about the Epitaph of Twilight in Root Towns, I forgot who.

Kuhn was in Vol 1 but the thing was, his character data was special thats why it got retransfered also Balmung and Orca probably don't have the proper mind set for the Epitaphs that go with their Azure PCs

Adding onto that, Balmung and Orca never had Data Drain, but Kite does, so it makes it logical that Balmung and Orca don't have Avatars.

Haseo is the only living person who's actually seen Azure Kite and made the connection between him and Tri-Edge. The general public has never seen Azure Kite.

btw, is it true, that AK becomes avatar, only because he have drain the data in the field, and makes him..like that?

It's true. Azure Kite is losing a battle, so he uses Drain Heart to data drain the field, absorbing it so he can use a fake Avatar as a desperation attack.

Well,that's not true : P In the game Yata show you that 3 ppl saw him,and only one has been data drained,so the other 2 saw him : P

what class is azure orca? .hack/wiki says he is an edge punisher, but it looks like he uses the same type of sword as azure balmung (who is said to be a blade brandier) also, in the origanl games, balmung and orca were both blademasters, so i'd be kind of surprised if they changed that for this game.

Both of them are Edge Punishers IIRC.

Even though they look like Blade Brandiers the site says they are Edge Punishers possibly to balance the classes out.

And basically nobody recognizes the Azure Knights because most people that play the World R:2 are new players who didn't play the first. Those that would recognize them like Piros, never see them.

Not true, Haseo heard about Tri-Edge in the forums and that he is a PK shrouded in blue fire. (If you recall, he never sees this blue fire until their big fight)

Not to mention the fact that Phyllo called Azure Kite by the name of Tri-Edge.

Well I am not sure why people do not remember but maybe the bandai just wanted the game to role-play like that.

1. He heard that he was a PK that could keep players from returning to the game. Haseo added the Azure Flame thing after seeing Azure Flame Kite at Shino's death.

2. Phyllo isn't a "LIVING" person, now is he? Besides, he only made the Tri-Dge=Azure Flame Kite connection due to Haseo's testimony.

Kuhn's character data wasn't transfered to R:2. No one's was.

the azure knight's character data was carried over, unless someone made them in R:2 based on what they heard about the orignals, and deicded to make them zombiefied.

To be fair, no one knows WHAT the hell is going on in Midori's skull. Her memories are more messed up than Tsukasa and she's not even sure if she can or can't log out.

But it seems nobody remembers the twilight incident.And talking bout Piros does he saw Tri-edge or A.F.Kite because if he saw him he would say heis like my old frien Kite... What do ya think?
