would you buy a "TV Tuner Card"?

I would buy one, but I lack the money to due so and I if did. I doubt that my parents would approve of me buying one. They would probably say, "why do you think you need one? You already have a tv thats hooked up to cable. It would be a waste of money, that you could be saving for something else."

I own one, but its not for watching TV. I use it to record analogue media into digial format so I can rip-and-burn onto DVDs and stuff, so its all good. Thats how I have alot of my in-game footage from my PS2, as well as my famous "Joe Musashi on Super vs Hiroko" video.

I LOVE my TV tuner card, it just doesn't always cooperate. That and my soundcard is too much for it to handle.

Hmm.. I originally answered no to the question, because there isn't a lot on TV I particularly care for. But using it to record game footage... I could definitely go for that. Would save me a lot of space on my memory card, that's for sure.

Except you don't download movies with a TV tuner. =/

I'd like to hook up a system to it so I could play it on my monitor and be able to take screenshots and whatnot.
