Doppleganger keywords? and missed stuff

Wasn't there a part C keyword where you could find the doppleganger and what did you do, wait 10 minutes? Either way I can't seem to find the topic about it.

Also, in this game does anyone know if you can miss anything? Like one time only items, events, cut scenes...ect

The Doppelganger will show up on almost all fields, though they might mention one in particular on Yomoyama. It takes about 10 minutes. He'll show up almost instantly if you use the C word "Moonlight Shadow", but you won't get that until Vol. 2...

The only things you can really miss out on are quest cutscenes, since they depend on the characters you bring along. You'll have to replay a few times to see them all, keeping in mind also that Saku and Bo are different characters, and that some characters go into comas/become unreachable indefinitely in certain games... I guess if you beat any boss too quickly you might not get to see all of their attacks, but that's kinda obvious...

It takes me about 10 minutes to track you down and fight you, but I only come if you're idle. :D Ninja poofing ftw.

vol 2? Well.. back before vol 2 someone had posted some keywords that all ended in the same C word. Maybe it was berserker but I forget.

No, Berserker is for player battle areas... There are a few specific areas he shows up quickly in, but there's no C word for it...

I picked a random field and kept still for 10 minutes, 11 actually and nothing happened. Then, I went wandering the field and bingo, doppelganger was there. The creepy music played but I was moving around him and beofe I knew it, he warped away using the gate point.

I'm going to wait again, just to see him kill me lol. I know I'll die, I'm only lvl 13.

Oh, yeah, you do have to find him. Also, he'll teleport around if you don't catch him fast enough, but he'll still be on the field I'm pretty sure...

That was cool and creepy... either way, I went up to him this time and sneak attacked, hit him back into the battle fence and then he zoomed over and bingo.... DEAD. lol

you only get a "useless" key item if you win against doppleganger but it has the same stats (HP as Haseo.)

However you don't really stand of chance of beating it till you can no longer lv up ie max LV is 50 in this part so don't bother fighting it till then.

That item allows you to get the Doppelganger weapons in Vol.2, so it's not "useless"... And if you practice underleveled Doppel hunting, then you can get weapons at he begining of Vol.2 that will last you the whole game... (Yes, they're level 50 equipment, but equivalent to level 100, in order to reward people with the mad skills to beat that thing early)

Also, say you are level 50. When you face it, since it is your level +8, will the Doppelganger be level 58, or since the level cap is 50, it's level will stay at 50? Thanks in advance.

Confusion, an ability of his twin blades. His sword has charm, and that's worse. And his scythe is like Haseo's lost weapon but better...

Whats the best team to have to go against him? I almost did it with Gaspard and Piros 3rd but after awhile his hp and sp regained to much so i had to smokebomb out.

I used Pai and Kuhn. I couldnt do enough damage to him at first but I kept smacking him until my awakening level maxed out. When I used it I destroyed him..

max GU part 1 cap is LV 50 since I was already LV 50 before fighting it stayed at that LV and didn't get a +8 weapon increase.
