Ok before you read further NGS is a remake of Ninja Gaiden...again.
All it is, is an updated Gaiden with some good content.

For instance

Rachel is playable. "ZOMG the PWNAGE" some of you might say.

Ryu can dual weild swords "Badass".

And of course new weapons and enemies.

Plus this version is "being helmed" by Yousuke Hayashi. A five year vet of Team Ninja.

actually this is where the bomb drops because NGS is ps3 only.

I haven't played Ninja Gaidian before maybe I will play this one.

Lol its not all surpriseing. PS3 has no choice in the matter since its in the loseing ranks. I wouldn't be surprised that ps3 has more exclusive titles.

I wonder if the extra content in black will transition over to sigma. Like how in mgs3 subsistence all the internet cameos were unlocked.

I had a feeling Gaiden would come to the PS3, just not this soon. Well I have four games I want for the PS3!!

2. Lair
3. MGS4
4. NGS

Well, the thing is, the reason they can make this a ps3 exclusive without feeling bad at heart, is because xbox has already gotten this game. Twice.
I've played NG and NGB and sure, NGB was even more fun than NG, but from what i see, NGS seems to have nothing going for it. The added playable character is worthless since Ryu can get her weapon anyway. NGB had dual swords too. I can't see any notable graphical increase either, and the framerate can't be improved as the xbox games already had a perfect one.

So it's pretty much like this:
For those who have already played NG or NGB (or have an xbox, since you can just get the xbox versions for much less money), this game isn't worth a thought.
For those who haven't got an xbox or 360 (and for some unexplainable reasons aren't planning to get one ) , you have all the right to be happy. You're going to get your hands on one of the best and most rewarding (yet most frustratingly hard) action games ever =) You'll like it, believe me. Now go pre-order it. The sony part of the world finally gets it =)

(NG was actually one of the main reasons i originally wanted an xbox. Before i even considered getting one, this was pretty much my highest wish)

Yea thats the one but its not really dual wielding because its...basically made of energy or looks like a hologram. Im guessing in NGS you can dual wield swords like Kitesu and the Dragon sword.

The Kitetsu is the cursed sword from the Playstation 2 game, Shinobi. It was made by the same people as Ninja Gaiden. It's called Akujiki in that game. Fanservice <3

Ask MarioShinobi, he'd know all about it, his character uses it :p

Actually both the swords drained your hp (and replenished off fighting) but if you had that amulet of tranquility then the draining the hp thing was nullified.

meh, I don't care.

PS3 can have there remake, 360 is getting the sequel
